Siti Jenar sheikh (also known in many other names, among others Sitibrit, Lemahbang,

and the weak brother) is a character which is regarded as one of the Sufi and Muslim
missionaries in Java. [1] No one knows the exact origins . In society, there are many
variations of the story about the origin of Sheikh Siti Jenar.
Some Muslims consider heretical famous for his teachings, which is subject
Manunggaling Gusti. However, some others consider that Sheikh Siti Jenar is an
intellectual who has obtained the essence of Islam itself. Teachings contained in the

Sheikh Siti teachings of the most controversial Jenar associated with the concept of life
and death, God and freedom, and where the force of the Shari'a. Siti sheikh Jenar view
that human life in this world is referred to as death. In contrast, the so-called common as
death, it is referred to as the beginning of the essential and eternal life by it.
As a consequence, human life in this world can not be subject to laws that are mundane,
such as state law, but does not include worship of Shari'a law as determined by the sharia.
According to scholars at that time who understand the core teachings of Sheikh Siti Jenar,
people in this world do not have to fulfill the five pillars of Islam, the creed, prayer,
fasting, zakat, and hajj. For him, the new sharia would apply after a man living the life
after death. Siti Jenar sheikh also believes that God exists in himself, which is in the
mind. This understanding is propagated by the clergy in those days, similar to the concept
of Al-Hallaj (Sufi Islam who was sentenced to death in the early history of Islam, at about

prostration to him. " Q.S. Sad: 71-72 "
Thus the human soul will merge with the spirit of God when his worship of God occurs.

There is a story that says that when Sheikh Siti Jenar bodies buried in the mosque
Demak, before the evening prayers, fragrant flowers and the light radiating from his
body. Sheikh Siti Jenar own bodies buried under the mosque next Demak by the trustees.
Another opinion says, he was buried in the mosque Mantingan, Jepara, with another
