This is the last Will and


Testament of me Charles
Hook Gordon Logie of
Dunedin in the province of
Otago, New Zealand,
Collector of Customs
I direct all my just debts
and funeral and
testamentary expences to
be fully paid and satisfied
by the Executrix
hereinafter named. I give
devise and bequeath all
my real and personal
estate whatsoever and
wheresoever unto my dear
Wife Elleanor Logie. To
hold the same unto her the
said Elleanor Logie her
heirs executors,
administrators and afsigns
(according to the nature
and quality of the said
estate respectively)
absolutely for ever.
I appoint my said Wife
Executrix of this my Will.
I devise all real estate
which is or shall be vested
in me in Trust of by way of
Mortgate and which I may
legally dispose of or
appoint by this my Will
unto my said Wife her
heirs and afsigns To Hold
the same Upon such
Trusts and subject to such
equity of redemption as
she said last mentioned
Real Estate is or may be
subject or liable to. I
hereby revoke all Wills or
Testamentary dispositions
by me at any time made
and do declare this to be
my last Will and
Testament. I witness
whereof I the said Charles
Hook Gord Logie have to
this my last Will and
Testament set my hand at
the foot or end of this my
Will this Ninth day of April
in the year of our Lord One
Thousand Eight Hundred
and Sixty Two. (Logie's
