> Administrative Council

The Administrative Council meets the 1 Monday of each month at 7pm. It is

made up of the chairs for each team of the church whose purpose is to
oversee church affairs: planning, upkeep, and budgeting. The administrative
council is open for all members to attend, and is also open to visitors to see
the workings of the church, but neither have voting rights on church
matters.

> Body & Soul Exercise Class


Kathy Joy, Leader
Meets at Covenant M/W/F at 10am.
This is an exercise class for older adults, ages 55 and up. There is a charge
for the class.

> Chancel Choir


Elaine Potter, Director of Music
The adult choir at Covenant is made up of committed Christians who love
to sing! We sing a blend of traditional and praise & worship songs. The
choir is open to everyone who loves music. You don’t have to be able to read
music in order to join the choir. A willing heart and a desire to serve the
Lord is all you need to participate. Please, come and sing every Wednesday
night at 7pm.

> Cub Scout Pack #77


Covenant is a sponsor for Cub Scout Pack #77. They meet on Tuesday nights
at 7pm in the fellowship hall. They have joining sessions for new members
throughout the year.

> Diversity Youth

Visit our website to learn more about our youth program. We meet
Wednesdays at 5:30pm for Dinner, 6pm for Choir, 7pm for discussion and
prayer,
and Sundays at 9:45am.

> Kidz Klub


Sherry Smith, Linda Smeltzer, Elaine Potter, Leaders
Kidz Klub meets every Wednesday night at 5:30pm for Dinner, 6:15pm for
Hand Bell Choir with Elaine, and at 7pm they continue fellowship with
either arts & crafts, exercise & PE, or Bible lessons.

Kidz Klub Bell choir is for children ages 4-11! The children enjoy singing
and ringing hand bells. They children’s choir participates in the Sunday
morning worship service once a month. They also present special music
programs throughout the year. I hope your child will participate every
Wednesday night at 6:15pm.

> Montagnard Community


Covenant is blessed to have these Christian people from Vietnam as a part of
our family! Our 9:30am Service is made up mostly of our Montagnard
families, and is spoken in the native language of Jerai. Montagnard means: A
Mountain People. These people have been rescued and found their way to the
United States to remove themselves from persecution in Vietnam.

history, customs, and who these people are. Please come feel the spirit at the
9:30am service…It is truly a beautiful and meaningful service.

> Mountain Toppers

The Mountain Toppers are a faith based group of couples and singles age 50+
who meet on the 4 Tuesday of each month. Together in fellowship, fun, and

support of each other we have a program and lunch. Programs are either at
church or a trip to a museum, a movie, or just going where the Lord leads us!
At least once a year, we take a 3-4 day trip. Annual dues are $15 per person.

Pairs & Spairs-


Middle-aged couples and singles, who love, learn, and laugh together as we
share our life experiences and our Christian faith journeys with one another.
On Sunday mornings you can find us upstairs, first door on the right! But
don’t be surprised if you find us at the beach, at a back-yard barbeque or on
a dance floor. The only thing we’re missing is you!

This is a group of widows who gather together to eat, talk, go on day trips,
etc. A place for all to gather together, to just be together in each other’s
company.

Chicken & Dumpling dinner
Fish Fry
Police, Fire, Medic Appreciation Dinner
And many more!
The UMM use proceeds from all fundraisers and activities to help with the
church needs.

The UMW Purpose:


The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of
women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole
persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and
to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries
of the church.

The UMW Organization:


United Methodist Women is a membership organization comprising close to
one million members across the United States. Any woman committing herself
to the Purpose of the organization can be a member.

Women are invited to be involved in leadership at the local, district,


conference, jurisdiction or national level. By doing so, you become a woman
committed to mission with women, children and youth!

Meets Each Wednesday from August through May.
Each Wednesday the church offers many events for our youth, children, and
adults.
The Meal starts a 5:30pm, Adults only $5 | Youth & Children $Free

This group is currently in development, and you can be a part of something new!
Covenant has a generation gap, and it is time to feel the void of young adults
within the church. We do not have set meetings, but have started to form this
group and are still working to make a permanent meeting time to get together for
fellowship and discussion in a small group setting. If you have questions about this
new ministry, please contact Pastor David Lee. Your presence, thoughts, ideas are
all welcome.
