Php 2,000,000.00, licensed by the Bureau of Food and Drug to produce food supplements and virgin
coconut oil with license to operate LTO No. RDII-RXI-F-2007, and registered as Barangay Micro-Business
Enterprise under Republic Act 9178. Started production of VCO Fresh virgin coconut oil on March 1,
2006. The first company in the country licensed by BFAD to produce Virgin Coconut Oil using the
advanced Fresh-Centrifuged Process.

VCO FRESH VIRGIN COCONUT OIL
A breakthrough quality of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) that is easier to drink and does not stink on the
skin. High lauric acid content due to optimized oil extraction. Retains the inherent pleasant aroma and
fresh taste of virgin coconut oil due to use of good quality coconuts, fresh extraction method, short
process cycle times, tight process control, hygienic bottling, and air-tight vacuum seal.
It does not have any degree of rancid smell and taste unlike a VCO that is subject to fermentation, nor
smell and taste of caramelized protein (latik) unlike a VCO that is subjected to high temperature
heating. All-natural and pure coconut oil that is fit for human consumption without further processing.
Produced from fresh coconut meat (processed within 24 hours from harvest), through physical process
of cold-press expelling, fresh centrifugation, micro-filtration, and low temperature vacuum drying and
pasteurization (oil is extracted within 2 hours from opening of nuts), without use of any chemical
processing nor addition of any chemicals, materials and flavors.
With its thin consistency and absence of adverse smell and taste, VCO Fresh is primarily intended for
direct oral intake or direct topical application at its pure state. Does not need masking with other
scents and aromas. Also best as active ingredient and/or base for food, drug and cosmetic
formulations, and as carrier for essential oils in aromatherapy.
VCO is composed primarily of medium-chain triglycerides, which are scientifically proven to be
converted to medium-chain monoglycerides and fatty acids inside the body, providing quick and
efficient cellular energy, killing a broad spectrum of pathogenic microbes, and boosting immune system
function. VCO is classified as GRAS (generally recognized as safe) under US Food, Drug and Cosmetic
Act.

Mild, non petroleum-based. Provides the healing effects of VCO while maintain a moisturized, soft and
smooth condition of a babys skin. Also for adults.

FROZEN COCO SKIM MILK


100% pure and fresh coconut skim milk. A unique by-product of the companys VCO production
technology. A healthy alternative to dairy milk.

DIETARY COCO FIBER


Food additive. A practical alternative to increase fiber content of food to meet good nutrition and
therapeutic diet requirements.

VCO FACTORY
INSTALLED CAPACITY
250 liters per shift. Can operate 3 shifts per day, 8 hours per shift, 6 days per week. Capacity is readily
expandable to 600 liters per shift. Can produce for customers own brand.

PROCESS TECHNOLOGY
3F coconut harvesting, cold-press, fresh-centrifuge, micro-filtration, LTLT vacuum drying and
pasteurization, and non-exposure to metal-to-metal contact.

COCONUT SUPPLY BASE


Within 10km from factory is about 8,000 hectares of coconut farm capable of daily harvest of 160,000
to 180,000 pieces above-average sized coconuts. At fully-expanded capacity of the current factory
location (2,400 liters per day) it will only need about 25,000 nuts per day.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Maximized used of non-fossil energy sources. Gravity for nut transport mechanisms, diffused skylights
for lighting, one-directional roof inclination and wide-windows air channels for directed natural
convective ventilation.

ZERO WASTE
100% composting for organic waste. Recovery, reuse and recycling of non-organic waste. Collection and
reuse of process water.

WATER CONSERVATION
100% collection and use of rain water.

PLANT SITE LOCATION


Harada Butai, Padada, Davao Del Sur, Southern Mindanao, Philippines. It is about 90 km form Davao

Scholarship Program For every liter VCO Fresh sold, and its equivalent, 1 Peso goes to the Scholarship
fund to help support the education of children in the community who are most in need, without any
bias on qualification.

MANGEMENT SYS TEM


An integrated management system on quality, environment, and health safety used in managing
factory processes, aligned to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 international standards, and
organic and Halal certification standard. Currently preparing for formal certification to the listed
standards.
