BUDUDA

Bududa District is located in the eastern part of the Eastern


Region of Uganda. The district comprises one county, seven
sub-counties and one town council. The district population is
167,000, of which 66% has access to safe water.
The access rates vary from 39% in Bukigai Sub-County to 95%
in Bududa and Bumayoka Sub-Counties. The functionality rate
in urban and rural areas is 77% and 92% respectively.
