Design Project 1

Planning, Analysis and Design of Shell Structure

Guided by Prof.Mrs. Gulshan Taj MNA. DGCT, Salem

Description
In this Project Auditorium building was designed with seating
arrangement for 2500 members. In which there is a single barrel cylindrical shell roof
structure in auditorium for aesthetic appearance of the building. Purpose of this project to
learn more knowledge to do a project in actual field manner & also gain new technique of
concrete shell roof analysis and its design.

Comparative study on Partial replacement of Coarse

aggregate by Conventional and Flyash brick bats in concrete

Guided by Prof.Mrs. Gulshan Taj MNA. DGCT, Salem

Description
In this Project Experimental investigations were made on the
different concrete samples which contains normal CA, Partially replacement materials

such as crushed over burnt brick bats & flyash brick bats as CA besides comparative
study were done. From this project, flyash brick bats proved to give better results for
partial replacement of CA and also safe disposal of kiln brick waste demonstrated
through this project.

SITE for 14 days.
In-Plant Training
Under-gone in-plant practical training in various construction of
Apartment buildings in Sri Sabari Associates, Salem-5 for 15 days.
