2009-Current
 Maintaining all daily office functions: Data entry, patient services, accounts receivable and
payable, filing, scheduling, supervising, and other office duties.

 Entering all patient demographics and updates. Entering payments for both receiving and
payable accounts. Responsible for all billing to insurance companies, patients and medical
coding.

 Helping will all patient needs such as calling insurance companies for benefits. All patient

 Processing self-pay payments and interacting with the patient by
explaining the process of insurance processing, EOB’s and their
contractual adjustments on claims billed by the hospital.

 Posting all collection agency payments to the correct accounts and


notifying agencies of all payments made directly to the Hospital
Business Office.

any medical records or information needed by the insurance

2002-2005

questions concerning the college, the Colorado Student Loan process,
and Federal Financial Aid.

Specialist
2001-2002
 Billing: Reviewing all bills and Medicare claims before billing
electronically in SSI, following up to review and correct claims with
errors or have been denied in Medicare’s Remote, sending out for
medical records for ADR’s, meeting Medicare’s rules and regulations
and watching for fraudulent claims.

 Computer System: Using systems like TPA, Remote, SSI, and IDX,
obtaining CPT and DRG codes, and UPIN numbers in order to get
corrected information on the claims.

 Data entry: noting accounts for changes and all new patient
information and updating all systems being utilized.
