speaking as I am responsible to deal with the supplier and courier. Some of the
work is not compatible with Mechanical Engineering like accounting, but I take
it as a challenge and opportunity for me to learn new things.

know where each products are being kept.
I have been tasked to set up and maintain the new ERP system.

After that, it will also be my job to receive the goods. Ill need to prepare all the
documentation and record all of it in the ERP System. Sometimes, problem will rises.
Such as, the goods is stuck at custom because of some documentation error.
4.3 Accounting
I need to do simple accounting like bank reconciliation. Although it may be
simple, but for Mechanical Engineering student it is a bit tricky. I take it as a
challenge and hope it will give benefit for me in the future.
5. SUMMARY
As conclusion, Industrial training achieves the objective of the program which is
to expose student to actual working culture and industrial practice, to allow students to
extend their theoretical knowledge into practice thus enhancing their understanding,
motivate students to practice the right working attitudes and professionalism to increase
their employability potential and also to facilitate students to potential employers.
18
Engineering course needs skills and experience in work for the new technologies.
Extra-Built (M) Sdn.Bhd is one of the best places to start gain knowledge about the real
working area. I can state here that, we must learn from the best and experts.
As a student, practical training can improve the potential of students in
practical and also improve their knowledge in theories by exposing them to hands on the
work. This practical also can change the students mentally by associating with the elder
workers. The ethics in working area can be applied to be a great students and to be a
great employees in the future.
Besides that, I have to make decisions that involved company based on the
theory that I have learnt in class. Making the decision for the company is not an easy
task as I have to take the responsibility to the decision that I have made. Through
industrial training, I have also experience the actual career world and practice all the
necessary work ethical which allows me to become an independent person, discipline
and competitive in line with UiTM mission which is to produce graduates that are
excellence in academic and extra-curricular activities.
