Animals in the Zoo
1.1 By the end of the 6- year primary schooling, pupils will be able to pronounce words and
speak confidently with the correct stress, rhythm and intonation.

By the end of this lesson, pupils will be able to:
1. Say the letter sounds aloud correctly individually and in groups
2. Sing an action song with correct pronunciation and letter sounds and own movements

1. Teacher assigns pupils into 8 groups.

8. Teacher adds actions for each animal for
pupils to do while singing.
9. Teacher and pupils discuss about the
song the animals in the song, their
movements and sounds of animals.
10. Teacher then provides each pupil with an
animal mask.
11. Pupils colour the animal mask in their
groups.
