I. Main
1. General
By assuming
a- All dwelling units (Residential & Commercial) unit will be fibered
b- The type of ONT to serve each unit is single family unit (SFU) or single business unit (SBU).
c- 1:2 splitters will be installed in the frame distribution frame (FDF) in the CO area and 1:32 splitters in FDT
located in OSP. Each 1:32 splitter will be distributed through secondary network.

2. General Requirements
All equipment must by have type approval from STC.
All MOP documentation must be depending on RFP.
Optical splitters should be preconnectorized with LC/APC connectors for mounting in pre-assembled
splitters cabinets.
Maximum distance (Reach) between OLT and ONT is 20Km.
Single fiber (Single Mode fiber G657) is used to connect the OLT located in the Central Office (CO), and the
ONTs located at the customer premises.
The routing and location of feeder route should consider the overall link budget which is 28dB, (Class B+), and
the position/location to ensure an easy access for the splitter cabinet.
Central Office (OLT) Requirements
The OLT PON port offers 2.5 Gbps bandwidth in down link and 1.25 Gbps in uplink.

3. Scope Description
This is scope to Install one OLTat at Mutlaq Exchange, Site No. 303-00 will be installed in the same location
of the existing EA of IP MPLS Network it will be connected direct without transmission Equipment because it is
colocated sites. Provide 2x10G uplink to the EA. these OLT facilities is to be in line with GPON FTTH
technology compliant with ITU-T standard G. 984 and enabling the provision of Triple Play services (Voice,
Video, and Data).
