LIVES. October 19, 2015 | SPLENDA Brand announced today the launch of its new campaign, Sweetness Chains, which aims to promote small moments that sweeten the lives of others in the community. "With the hustle and bustle of modern life, often we are not aware that a positive action on our part towards another person can make a big difference," said Viviana Buxeda, Group Brand Manager of SPLENDA, the official life sweetener, while announcing Sweetness Chains. Buxeda added that the campaign aims to "impact the public so people join or initiate sweetness chains to make everyone's life more pleasant." The campaign consists of television commercials and digital content that show moments that sweeten the lives of others. One of the ads includes vignettes filmed in several cafeterias and coffee shopswhere the establishment paid for the coffee of one customer, and encouraged this person to participate in a sweetness chain by paying for the coffee of the next customer who ordered one. In the commercial, it is clearly seen that the person who receives the coffee is pleased, and illustrates how this gesture motivates this customer to do the same for someone else. The locations where these activations were carried out were: Double Cake, Caf Don Ruiz, El Antiguo Bilbao and the Panadera Panaderos. The second ad presents various persons whose cars broke down and their responses to the kindness of the driver of the tow truck that comes to the rescue, who gives them a coffee sweetened with SPLENDAto help mitigate the inconvenience of being on foot. The new Sweetness Chain campaign of SPLENDA, life's official sweetener, was produced entirely on the island by DDB Latina Puerto Rico, with an investment of approximately $125,600.
