The candidate should have knowledge of

Performing preventive maintenance, breakdown, overhauling jobs.


Planning jobs, so that there will be no overrun of time & resources.
Planning resources and manpower.
Capable of trouble shootings.
Good knowledge of BOP auxiliaries and its maintenance.
Good knowledge of rotary equipments like CHP, AHP equipments, CWP, ACWP, CT Fans, River water PP, Raw
Material Pump etc.
Good knowledge of hangers and supports.
Capable of vibration analysis and take corrective actions.
Should be able to assist the other functions of O & M in improving availability and PLF.
Should have CMMS experience.

General Accountabilities:

Monitor healthiness of plant equipments


Scheduling and planning of various types of maintenance activities.

Manager-mechanical Maintenance
Job Description
Principle Accountability:
Ensure 100% Availability of rotating equipment.
Prepare SMP of the rotating equipment boiler side.
Improve technical skill of colleagues and technicians.
Develop site facility for technicians to improve maintenance practice.
Day to day preventive, predictive, break down, condition base jobs
Improve technical skills for reduce maintenance cost
Motivate colleague, technicians for maintenance safety Practice.
Maintain documentation for ready reference.
Develop communication skills of colleagues to operational authority and other agencies.
Day to day technical discussion with colleagues and higher authority
Concentrate to reduce oil consumption
Create plate form to Develop indigenous spares.
Improve good housekeeping in responsibility area and surrounding area.
Ensure to carry out tool box talk at least once in a week
Role & Responsibilities:
prepare work orders
Assign work order for various craft people
perform inspections to access equipment condition
Monitor various maintenance activities.
Scheduling & planning of various types of maintenance.
Monitor contractors and direct them to perform work
perform PM, RCM, CBM, Forced outage etc. maintenance
Monitor healthiness of plant equipments.
Analyse cause of poor performance of equipments and take action accordingly.
To maintain maintenance history & prepare maintenance report

Deputy Manager/associate Manager-mech Maint (BOP Pumps,tg)


Job Description
1. Ensuring high availability of turbine, generator and auxiliaries (pumps, pipelines, heater, valves etc.)
2. Supervision of maintenance measures in turbine, generator and auxiliaries maintenance division and adhering to
safety norms
3. Ensuring availability of spares for T&G & BOP maintenance
4. Supporting Operation department for handling routine day-to-day maintenance issues
5. Optimisation of Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR)
6. Ensuring compliance with procedures relating to documentation and record keeping of equipment history
7. Monitoring of running equipment condition and parameters like discharge pressure, bearing temperatures,

vibration and Motor current etc. and responsible for rectifying the abnormality
8. Monitoring the parameters of CW pumps, CT fans, Service air and instrument air compressors and its driers, DG
sets, ACW pumps, Sea water intake pumps, R.O plant DM plant pumps and its local line-up and Isolations and
taking action in case of abnormalities.
9. Ensuring cleanliness of equipment and its instruments, electrical equipment and local panels and maintaining
area housekeeping.
10. Ensuring recording of major activities / events performed during the shift in logbook and filling the area log
sheets
11. Strictly adhering the safety rules & Statutory compliance.

Head(mechanical Maintenance - 125x2 - Thermal CPP)


Job Description
To plan, organise, coordinate, monitor and execute mechanical.
To develop and control maintenance inspection schedules, procedures leading to reduced breakdowns and enhance equipment
availability.
To have complete knowledge of maintenanceTurbine, PF Boiler, Ash Handling Plant, DM Plant and auxilaries.
To design continual improvement plan to optimize cost of production.
To plan and develop internal resources to enhance knowledge by proper guidance, trainings etc...
To select and develop vendors/alternate vendors for spare parts to reduce cost.
To ensure safe working atmosphere by following industry best practises, develop SOP and aim for zero accidents.

Job Description

3. Supervision of maintenance measures in turbo generator and auxiliaries maintenance division and adhering to
safety and quality norms
4. Ensuring availability of spares and other infrastructure for maintenance of turbine, generator and auxiliaries
5. Spares planning
6. Supporting Operation department for handling routine day-to-day maintenance issues
7. Optimisation of Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR)
8. Plan resource requirements for maintenance of turbo generator and auxiliaries manpower, materials and
contracts
9. Coordination with R&M for equipment up gradation
10. Ensuring compliance with procedures relating to documentation and record keeping of equipment history
11. Monitoring of running equipment condition and parameters like discharge pressure, bearing temperatures,
