Programs Offered
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) prepares graduates to contribute to individual and societal
health through direct care, education and administration. The curriculum is uniquely sequenced to
promote integration and application of knowledge and diverse skills.
After completion of the required coursework, students will be eligible to take the National Council
Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) which allows them to continue Nursing
Practice in US.

Duration: 4 Years
Eligibility:
O level or High School with at least one subject in Science Background
A level or Higher Secondary school certificate with Biology and Chemistry subjects can be

enrolled directly in to 2nd year of the 4 year BSN program.

Advanced Standing Nursing (ASN)

Texila American University has a continuing commitment to assist the registered nurses in attaining
the baccalaureate degree. This program is also called RN-BSN conversion program. This program is
for already registered nurses who would like to further their knowledge and upgrade themselves.

Duration: 2 Years
Eligibility:
Nurses with Registered Nursing Certification
Must have completed a 3-year Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing
