Test Sequences
& Control Structures
To precisely mimic the consecutive usage of various
network services, tests can be combined and programmed in a sequence. In addition, the sequence
can be used to access complex network service
interaction whilst saving testing-time. Control
Structures provide logical operators like: List based
FOR EACH, condition based WHILE and REPEAT,
and time based WAIT. Dependent on the arrange
tests, more then twice as much tests can be performed with the same number of test interfaces.
Test Interfaces
SITE supports GSM/GPRS Um , UMTS Uu , EDGE, CDMA2000, HSDPA, PSTN a/b, ISDN So, GSM A, Gb, ISUP,
GSM-R and WLAN. Keynote SIGOS is also integrating IuCS , IuPS ,Trace Mobiles.

Open System
SITE is an open system and can be easily
integrated into existing test environments.
Existing equipment may be directly linked to
SITE and controlled and monitored via the
system interface.
Moreover, current software updates, configuration
modifications or problem clearance are quickly
and reliably performed by the Keynote SIGOS
support team via remote access.
SIM Multiplexing
SITE can handle thousands of SIM and USIM
cards in cascade-style SIM card boards. The
subscriber information of a SIM card is read
out by the system and transmitted via a LAN/
WAN network to any test location required. Each
card may be virtually transmitted to any location
without even a single card having to be moved
physically.

Reporting / Alarming
Reporting is a fully integrated feature in SITE;
SITE Reporting enables user to create, view and
forward reports which have been generated of
the report data base measurements flexible
created KPIs according to ETSI standards or easy
integrated customised KPIs. These reports can
be defined by the SITE user by means of an easy
drag-and-drop functionality. Different alarm levels
can be specified in these reports and the alarms
can be defined and released by different service
alarm features e.g. aggregation and threshold.
Alarms can be forwarded to the desired destination via SNMP, SMS and e-mail. Reports can
be illustrated in different ways e.g. Charts,
Histograms, Pie Charts as well as by Geographical
Information System (GIS) and to be viewed over
the SITE user interface or with an HTML browser.

GLOBALROAMER
For outbound roaming testing Keynote SIGOS offers the
GlobalRoamer. GlobalRoamer allows mobile network
operators to activate their own SIM cards via the internet
in mobile test stations in remote countries, and verify
that all services are available for their roaming customers.
For more details and if interested, please contact us at

VIDEO TELEPHONY
Video Telephony is a key service of 3G. This promising
wireless service can cause new problems across multitechnology networks. Today where legacy services coexist with 3G offerings, End-to-End testing and roaming
automation are critical requirements for service deployment
and profitability. SITE Video Telephony offers a regular
testing of this service.
VOICE QUALITY
Voice service is and will remain the key quality indicator
in a mobile network. This is recognised by subscribers
and operators alike. Not only the availability of the
service such as answer ratios and dropped calls are of
interest but also specifically the quality of the voice
connections. This is why SITE supports voice quality
testing according to the PESQ algorithm recommended
in the ITU-T P.862 standard.
HANDSET SIMULATION
The opportunity for mobile operators to sell exciting
new mobile content and handsets is enormous.
We can help with our most powerful tool to test all your
services simulating the large variety of available handsets.
STREAMING
Due to higher bandwidths the use of real-time multimedia
applications in the wireless / mobile community will
dramatically increase. To ensure the mobile customer
enjoys a positive experience, the streaming data transfer
has to be tested with SITE Streaming, which uses the
industry standard RTP and RTSP protocols.
VIDEO QUALITY
SITE delivers perceptual quality measurements to reproduce the subscribers quality impression mapped to the
mean opinion score, similar to other quality tests. SITE
supports VIDEO quality testing according to the PEVQ
algorithm.
WLAN
The number of worldwide Wireless LAN (WLAN) hot spots
supported by the mobile network operators will grow
enormously in the next few years. The existing customer
SIM card will be the preferred (and secure) identification
and authentication module. SITE WLAN tests the availability
of Wireless LAN hot spots, and the access.
PUSH-to-TALK
The new push-to-talk services turn mobile phones into
walkie-talkies with unlimited range. The benefit of radio
style communication especially broadcasting to many
users makes it much more convenient than many phone
calls or even call conferencing. SITE tests the 1-to-1 or
1-to many voices communication
BLACKBERRY
It allows users to stay connected with secure and wireless access to E-mail, corporate data, calendar and web,
to easily manage all their communication and information
from a single BlackBerry device whenever and wherever
required. With SITE BlackBerry e.g. the e-mail push from
a RIM server is tested on commercial BlackBerry devices.
FUTURE APPLICATIONS
Keynote SIGOS always keeps pace with the latest
telecommunication developments, e.g. 3G services, 3G
location based services, Drive Test with Wireless LU and
GPS, Traffic Telematic, Tests with DSL interface etc...

decrease the amount of Roaming errors.
This improvement was a combination of three
actions: the automatic roaming testing with
the GlobalRoamer service, a new international

How to guarantee
correct invoices?
Today manual tests only provide inaccurate,
untrustworthy and in most cases very expensive
results. To assure correct charging a precise and
reliable Revenue Assurance system is essential.
With SITE, scheduled, continuous test of all
services provide maximum accuracy of all test
calls to be precisely mapped to call data
records or international TAP-files.

Professional Services
In the liberalised and highly innovative telecommunications market, new products and services are
introduced at very short notice. This means that
complex processes have to be constantly adjusted,
thus generating a need for testing and quality
measurement with independent solutions.
The introduction of new services, especially in respect
of time and budget, depends on the efficiency of
testing and the availability of appropriate service
quality management tools.
Professional Services
for an error-free network!
Professional Services
Keynote SIGOS Professional Services ensure that
telecommu-nication products and services are realised
on time in the required quality. We supply planning,
specification, design, testing and training as well as
system integration and support. Network operators
and manufacturers alike benefit from our expertise.
