Job Responsibilities:

The Project Director is the leader of the Revamp of PEOC & MIS process and effort. The position
will have Overall operational and management responsibility in completing the PEOC & MIS process.
Responsible for delivering projects against agreed Scope, budget, schedule & expectations. Doing this
whilst supervising, directing & motivating teams of multi-discipline consultants & employees.

PM will realize the recommendation of Logical Framework and Project proposal and follow the
given Project Budget. PM is also responsible for Project Implementation, Program tasks, Finance,
Administration and HR through effective Collaboration with PDMA Head Office.

The Project Manager is responsible for the day to day management of the Project, He/ She provides
support and supervision to all Project Staff.

Project implementation:
Facilitate and provide assistance to Project development, implementation, monitoring and
evaluation at all levels.
Initiate and support the preparation of detailed plans of action, procurement and corresponding
budget; to be reviewed and submitted to Project Steering Committee in a timely manner.
Assist in the planning and budgeting of Procurement, field activities in coordination with field- and
administrative Staff.
Facilitate a process to ensure that activities follow the overall framework of the Project objectives
and results.
Ensure that Project implementation is in accordance with the project policies and guidelines.
Ensure effective coordination with stakeholders at all level.
Ensure accountability of human, material, and financial resources related to the Project at all levels.
Reporting/ communication:
Weekly/ monthly follow-up: from the MIS Specialist, GIS Specialist and Network Specialist in a
monthly/quarterly report.
Consolidate and forward narrative and financial report to Director HR & Admin on the overall
progress of the project.
Human resources:
Develop a well-functioning team with a good team spirit to implement the Project.
Supervise the project team, consultants/consulting firms and support them in programming, and
reporting tasks in close cooperation with the Technical and Operational departments.
Undertake on-the-job training of project employed staff through all stages of the process (project
development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation).
Undertake regular and frequent support and monitoring visits to the project sites and participate in
periodic reviews and evaluations (internal as well as external).

Facilitate regular meetings, coordinate the work and manage Project team and consultants.
Establish and close contact to and promote that all stakeholders at all levels are involved to ensure
a smooth implementation and achievement of objectives.
Coordination
Coordinate the project activities with PDMA to ensure synergy of approaches.
Finance and Administration:
PM will be responsible for the performance of all subordinates and will regularly check their
progress.
Analyze the future needs of resources or projects for ERP, DMIS, Early Warning, GIS and
DDMUs and will give recommendations to MIS in advance.
Recognize and solve potential problems and evaluate project effectiveness

Prepare with the Project team, a detailed budget forecast for the activities implementation and have
them approved by Director HR & Admin.
Assist in preparing monthly financial expenditure report against allocated budget.
Qualification: Master degree in CS/IT/ Management Sciences. Preference will be given to those candidate
who have PMP certificate
Experience: 15 years of experience in a management of multiple projects as a leader.
Skills: Proficiency in the use of computer for: Word processing, simple accounting, Data base management
Spread sheets, E-mail, Internet.

Responsibilities:
Participates in the development, implementation and post-implementation of support of ERP
software.
Provides support in all modules, writing organizational data interfaces, creating extemporized
reports, analyzing and, tuning programs to enhance performance.

Identifies where process improvements can be made and works with the ERP Team to create the
business case for each initiative.
Responsible for recommending improvements in Systems functionality.
Works with on-going implementation team to support them in issue resolution and ensures they
adhere to the programs commonality standard.
Key expert in the reporting needs of the business and has a strong understanding of the reporting
tools available in the Dynamics AX.
Analyze information problems, requested changes, and required modifications to develop
appropriate business process solutions.
Formulate workflow charts and diagrams to specify in detail business process supported by
enterprise systems.
Develop effective reporting tools needed to support the business unit information requirements.
Set-up database and application configurations, standards, guidelines and quality assurance for
systems development deliverables.

Qualification:

Responsibilities:

Primary duties include maintaining the integrity and security of Organization Intranet and systems
connected to it. He must have extensive knowledge of network connectivity, protocols, network
security devices, network types, including wireless, fiber optic or Cat5, and common operating
systems, such as Windows and UNIX, Debian, Ubunto and Centos.
Technical Experience:
Analyze network data to determine network usage, disk space availability, or server function.
Configure security settings or access permissions for groups or individuals.

Configure wide area network (WAN) or local area network (LAN) routers or related equipment.

Responsibilities:

Overall Incharge of the Provincial Emergency operation Center

Responsible for the proper and smooth working of the Emergency Center

Coordinate disaster response/ crisis management activities.

Continuously monitor and plan/make adjustments during the emergency

Provide information/updates/briefs to the DRR, DG, Media etc

Liaising with concerned agencies/actors/ partners

Coordination with the Districts

Maintaining the Information loop within and outside of PDMA

Inspect facilities and equipment such as emergency management centers and communications
equipment in order to determine their operational and functional capabilities in emergency situations
Maintain and update all resource materials associated with emergency preparedness plans/PEOC.
Plan, design, coordinate and execute regular emergency drills involving all actors
Prepare emergency situation status reports that describe response and recovery efforts, needs, and
preliminary damage assessments.
Prepare plans that outline operating procedures to be used in response to disasters/emergencies such
as floods, earthquake etc, and in recovery from these events.
Study emergency plans used elsewhere in order to gather information for plan development.
Attend meetings, conferences, and workshops related to emergency management in order to learn new

Working knowledge of client server, Linux Server, install and configure Windows firewall e.g.
ISA 2004/2006 and Linux/Unix firewalls.
Network Services such as DNS, Active Directory, DHCP, ISA Server, FTP Server, Email.
Plan to update information, create back-up copies and remove errors.
Sharing, print sharing and implementation of Network security policies.

Title of Post: DMIS Supervisor
Project Title: Revamp of PEOC & MIS in PDMA
Duty Station: Peshawar
Main duties and responsibilities:
The position is within the Main Office of PDMA.

DMIS Supervisor will report to MIS Incharge and will be responsible for maintenance of
Disaster Management Information System (DMIS), developed in Python and PostGre.
Ensuring Linux based servers configuration and DMIS online availability.
Will be responsible for customization of DMIS according to the needs of Authority, changes into
the how different data sets be incorporated and accommodating new changes into the structure of
Open Source DMIS.
Candidate will take backup and restore the Database of DMIS on weekly and monthly basis.
Candidate will track the activities and will generate log-reports of different activities operated by
different users on the DMIS :
Excellent Experience on UNIX, Centos Asterisk server, Ubantu /Debian Server, Open Source
Eden System, Post Gre Database and SQL Server.

Qualifications:
BCS/BIT (Hons) or Masters in Computer Science/IT or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of professional working experience in maintenance and servicing of Open
Source Eden System computer networks and equipment.
Additional Skills

format as desired by higher ups.
Attend telephone calls (incoming/outgoing) and maintain proper record, handling them
appropriately and in professional manner/ Receive.
Communicate and Coordinate with all 25 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa relevant department
especially with 10 districts through 3CX Software and with other district through Land line Nos
or any other mean of communication
Respond to public enquiries related to Disaster etc in appropriate manner.
Operate/Enter data in Disaster Management Information System(DMIS)
Operate Content Management System (CMS) Software and ensure proper entry of incoming calls
in entry form for record purposes.
Operate Thuraya Satellite in case of emergency or when desired
Communicate with DDMOs/Computer Operators of 10 most vulnerable districts through 3CX on
regular basis also ensure IP camera connectivity with those districts
Provide relevant data/reports related to any disaster for uploading in PDMA website to IT Officer

Qualification: BCS/BIT (Hons) or MCS/MIT or equivalent.

Minimum 1 year relevant experience of management information system and networking.


Technical expertise in Ethernet networks configurations, TCP/IP and structured cabling skills.
Written and oral fluency in Urdu and English. Knowledge of Pashto will be considered a big plus.
Good communication, people management, and writing skills.
Proven ability to work in a collaborative, multi-tier team environment.
Candidates must be able to deliver under intense work load and are expected to work in out of
schedule timings. PEOC is operational 24 X 7 on shift basis.

The GIS Officer will be responsible for Geographic, and Geo-Spatial data collection, mapping of Risk
Atlases.

Conduct field work (on site), and gather GIS data relevant to the project.
Produce thematic maps and disseminate geographic information.
Act as liaison among Government /NGO/INGO for GIS vendors to develop, enhance and improve
GIS system.
Candidate will be responsible for upkeep and maintenance of the Maps/GIS
Systems/Networks in ready to use condition 24/7. Collaborate with members of technical sectors
and GIS unit on survey enumeration, map series creation, compilation on available geospatial
data sets, and the like.

Verifies, corrects and updates GIS data layers and databases utilizing coordinate geometry and
graphics to correspond with the information on design drawings, maps, plans and reports and
prepares and maintains metadata for all spatial data layers and databases. Converts hardcopyengineering drawings into electronic formats.

Monitoring of Partner organizations and Reporting to Commissioner& PDMA.
Qualification:
Masters in Social Sciences or equivalent with 3 years of experience in monitoring and reporting
in public sector projects.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years experience of monitoring, reporting, NGOs field activities supervision.
Skills:

The candidate shall have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Candidate must be skilled at using web enabled information management systems.

Working on Android devices/pagers.
