Resolution to Commission the School Boards in Conducting Individual

Consultations with the Constituency regarding Atenean holistic
formation
A resolution to commission the School Boards of the Sanggunian in conducting
individual consultations with the general constituency regarding Atenean holistic
formation and formative programs of the Ateneo administration.

Whereas, the Sanggunian ng mga Mag-aaral ng mga Paaralang Loyola ng Ateneo de

Manila is founded on the principles of representation, accountability, consultation,
and efficient and effective service towards the holistic formation of the Atenean; 1
Whereas, the Sanggunian shall defend and advance the general welfare of the Ateneo
Student Community;2
Whereas, the Committee on Formation Services, or the CFS for brevity, is the
standing committee of the Central Board tasked with all policy initiatives relating to
the formation programs of the university to the students of the Loyola Schools; 3
Whereas, Central Board committees are empowered to draft resolutions in response
to relevant issues and formulate programs and projects that would be passed onto
the School Boards;4
Whereas, the Sanggunian recognizes the need for policy changes in the formative
programs of the Ateneo administration, particularly the Integrated Ateneo Formation
program or the INAF program;
Whereas, the Sanggunian recognizes the right of the students, as direct stakeholders,
to participate in crafting and recommending changes to the current formative
programs of the Ateneo;
Wherefore, be it resolved that the Central Board shall commission the Sanggunian
School Boards in conducting individual consultations with the general constituency
regarding Atenean holistic formation and the formative programs of the Ateneo
administration;
Wherefore, be it further resolved that the Committee on Formation Services shall
create implementing rules and regulations for the execution of this initiative, and
shall collect and process its results;
Wherefore, be it further resolved that the block representatives, course
representatives, and block and course officers-in-charge shall conduct the individual
consultations with at least five (5) members of his/her constituency;

Wherefore, be it further resolved that the School Board Chairpersons, if any,

otherwise the School Board Liaisons shall inform and instruct the representatives
under their respective school boards regarding the implementing rules and
regulations of this initiative;
Wherefore, be it further resolved that the School Board Chairpersons, if any,
otherwise the School Board Liaisons shall require the representatives under their
respective school boards to conduct these individual consultations, and shall collect
and compile the gathered information and results from their representatives;
Wherefore, be it further resolved that the individual consultations shall be conducted
from November 2 to November 6;
Wherefore, be it further resolved that the results of the individual consultations shall
be forwarded to the Committee on Formation Services on or before November 10;
Wherefore, be it further resolved that the results of this initiative shall be used by the
CFS, the Central Board, and the formation offices as a reference for possible policy
changes regarding the formation programs in the future;
Wherefore, be it further resolved that noncompliance of block and course
representatives and officers-in-charge to the stipulations of this resolution shall be
subject to the Code of Internal Procedures of the respective school boards;
Wherefore, be it further resolved that noncompliance of school board heads to the
stipulations of this resolution shall be subject to the Code of Internal Procedures of
the Central Board;
Wherefore, be it finally resolved that, with the approval of the Central Board by a
simple majority vote, this resolution shall take effect immediately.
