Be or not to be woman

Society nowadays is place for all possibilities which in the past were ignored, equality
problem between man and woman being one of the most played along the time.
Psychology of the time, but in the same time woman reserve to promote her values
headed to a delay of hers rights recognition. Men wondered : deserve a woman the
same rights as his ?or can woman to society development, society ruled only by
men. Women were asking for rights, but I think the most important is the chance of
everyone to realize their dreams. Woman is a special being, which has a particular
place in our lives. We all have a mother, one sister and of course a wife or even a
daughter. We are born in the heart of one nation and we develop and the values of
the people, the mother has a great importance on our behavior since the first years of
life. Physically the woman can`t be compared with man, but a personality doesn`t
make herself known by physically aptitudes, a moral portrait is the piece which
makes difference. Woman wherever she comes from, Romania or even from far
Orient from Iraq, woman is the person which often listen with her heart. This is the
proof of sensibility and love for human which woman express. In nowadays society
woman found the way to promote hers values, be more dynamic, be in first view
because Romanian society opened the borders to be in touch with the West,
democracy is much more permissive and the report created with orthodox religion is
more tolerant. Woman succeed to express hers point of view, but reminiscences from
old behavior and conceptions still remained in some men way to think. Though, the
tendency is to synchronize with west values and with democratic society virtues.
Since woman rights in Romania are granted, she wasn`t late to contribute substantial
in many domains, like education or beautiful arts. Access to public institutions is no
longer forbidden, even sometimes women have less agents. The point is that women
and men relations develop in a good mood. In nowadays society we observe that
beautiful sex discrimination stops like ideological and cultural phenomenon. Future is
promising a lot for women in Romania, but not the same we can say about other
regions in the World, like Iraq. Iraqi society is grinded by interests of corrupt persons,
which use all their means to reach their goal. Iraqi mentality was modeled by exdictator Saddam Hussein, which sown hate for women, he limited woman to right to
born, likely boys to serve the country. Values promoted then and fundamentalist

religion formed a scary mentality in which concerns women. Women are straight
discriminated, but nowadays Iraq is a state in process of democratization
( Constitution adopted in 2007), time for changes has began. Changes began, but in
what concerns legal terms. In fact situation can`t be imagined by any woman in
Romania. One first step was to create Minister for Women Affairs, where a tireless
woman fight for woman rights and hers emancipation. Recent steps announce a
great involvement by women in economic life and some social stability. The Orient
was always some which can`t be understood for a western and much more for scarce
conditions for life in which some women have a home. There is a paradox in Iraqi
world : man and woman has same rights in name of religion, but in fact this freedom
doesn`t exist. Poverty, misery, absence of personal hygiene elements make you
wonder how those women manage their lives. Even cultures are different, both
women from Romania and Iraq have common values. Family, respect for habits and
traditions and loyalty for society they come from, those are highest values of women
from those two states. Iraq and his culture is very different compared with western
culture. So, values and hopes for people living here may seem unusual for western
civilization, but you can`t change one people`s way to think, maybe just affirm new
habit and beliefs among them. Iraqi woman has another function or role in society,
and hers emancipation in occidental way is hard to imagine. Iraqi population is
composed by shia and sunni which along the time had a lot of conflicts, the
consequences affected especially the woman. Those conflict took place a regional
level and another threatening is terrorist groups. Religion fanaticism and women
discrimination at country level made people committing injustice at women and
children rights believe is Allah will to do this. International groups are responsible for
persons traffic and maintaining insecurity in population mind, much more on women
mind. Iraqi woman lost father, husband, brother or even son in some conflicts, even
so strong moral qualities like devotion, home love, patriotism and determined goals
make Iraqi woman an example for all of us. Morality of Iraqi woman makes us realize
our superficiality in real life problems. So this woman lives just for family. In Romania
nowadays women can`t imagine their lives without right to choose what they want
and their partner for life. Iraqi woman doesn`t choose hers husband, hers family does
and negotiate marriage conditions. Unfortunately, abuses take place in all states in
the World and so through promoted material posted here and personal wish for a
better world, I transmit that everyone must contribute to reach out goal. Life and
diversity richness must be joy and not reason to reduce to a social standard, must be
supported by us to reach a particular moral standard and enjoy everything which the
person beside us offer.
