Maps

Student’s Name: Elle Hattan Date: 3/1/10

1) What city did you choose and why?

I chose Chicago because my older brother lives there and I like

to visit him. I also like to see all the new sites.

2) What are the major landmarks in the city that you choose?

I chose to start at the hotel I hope to stay at, the planetarium,

Shep’s Aquarium and Tiffany’s. I chose my hotel because I will
have to know how to leave and get back to that location. I chose
the aquarium, planetarium and Tiffany’s because those are
popular attractions that I would like to visit.

3) What is the importance of these landmarks to you?

The importance of these landmarks are that I have not visited

them yet and would like to. I have never been to an aquarium
before and I like to look at the stars.

4) Why did you make the map the way you did?

I drew my map the way I did because it covers all the tourist
spots that I would like to visit in the best sense of location.

5) Does this map make the most sense for you time limit?

This map does make sense because it allows me to make the use
of time and to see all the locations in an orderly fashion.
