 Fill out requisitions for open and upcoming positions to be posted on the
internet and company website.
 Finalize and/or write job descriptions from hiring managers according to
Company policy for new requisitions and for reposting open requisitions.

Human Resource Specialist


 Enter data into the HR system for TCMP employees only to include
current medical information, salary changes, new hires, terminations, etc.
Type offer letters and assembled the new hire packets with benefit and
policy information, keep files current. Help Benefits department with
TCMP open enrollment for health insurance and 401k retirement plan.
 For TCMP, payroll had two schedules; semi-monthly and bi-weekly.
Changes were made in the HR system accordingly to include
terminations, salary changes, tax changes, address changes, and
anything to do with employees’ records.

Human Resources Assistant/Accounting Assistant


 Human Resources – manage the medical and life insurance billing
process for the retirees, help coordinate benefits for active employees,
maintain personnel records, work with the Ceridian HR/Payroll system,
collect and check the timesheets for payroll, and coordinate other
programs such as MetroChecks, CPR training, blood drives, seated
massages, flu clinic, etc.
 Accounting – enter invoices to be paid into the Great Plains accounting
system, prepare the Cash Receipts journal and miscellaneous check
deposits. Also provide assistance to the Assistant Manager with the check
backlog.
 Receptionist duties – started with the Association as Receptionist and
Human Resources Assistant. As the receptionist, handled and directed
all calls to the correct person, answered questions about the issues the
department lobbyists were handling and directed the members and
outside visitors to the correct meetings.
