education and career experiences in media communications, marketing, television production, and
journalism align well with the qualifications your organization is seeking. While completing my
Bachelors degree in Media Communications with Full Sail University, I have worked with Fox
Business Network in Washington, DC as a Production Assistant, as well as with WHAG TV as a News
Reporter/Anchor in Hagerstown, Maryland. These career experiences have given me the
opportunity to:
Cover a range of areas (e.g., sports, news, healthcare, business, education, lifestyle) as a fulltime general assignment reporter and photographer
Develop into a seasoned news writer and anchor with on-air experience
Report live, breaking news; communicate clearly and effectively under pressure
Develop relationships with reporters/editors in national and local media markets
Become a self-starter by working with various local sources to develop stories for
broadcasts
Assist producers and reporters in developing live shots throughout DC on assignments
including the White House press briefing, US Supreme Court decisions, International
Monetary Fund, The National Press Club, and Capitol Hill

In addition to my education and career experiences, this career opportunity is of great interest to
me due to my passion for the game of golf. Due to 13+ years of playing golf, I also meet the
requirements of having in-depth knowledge of golf vocabulary, vernacular, and current events. As a
young golfer, I interviewed Tiger Woods and his father while he put on a demo for my golf team in
association with the Tiger Woods Foundation.
