Review of HCFA 1500 forms to assure prompt & accurate billing to primary and secondary insurance companies

Accomplishments
The anesthesiologist account that I was responsible for billing, had the lowest A/R in our company business which
consisted of several major hospitals throughout Illinois. Knowing this, I feel confident that the organizational
skills and knowledge of my job duties, made this possible.

Throughout my years as a medical biller I have achieved the knowledge and skills to assist patients with their
billing concerns as well as becoming educated and familiar with Managed Care contracts, resulting in reassurance
that all claims are being paid correctly according to contractual terms.
Interests
I have interest in learning how to be a certified medical coder so that I may enhance my abilities as a medical
biller. However, I also have an interest in a financial/administrative field.

I am willing to learn upon new opportunities becoming available with hopes of becoming a part of a management
team. I am looking for a long term opportunity with an established company. Though my experience is in medical
billing, I am also willing to take on new opportunities. I am a fast, hands-on learner.

My personal interest is spending quality time with my family. I have a 10 1/2 year old son and a 2 1/2 year old
daughter. I happen to also be an animal lover. We have a dog that we took in as a stray about 3 years ago that has
