People with diabetes have an increased risk of developing a number of serious health problems.
Consistently high blood glucose levels can lead to serious diseases affecting the heart and blood
vessels, eyes, kidneys, nerves and teeth. In addition, people with diabetes also have a higher risk of

Diabetes Mellitus

Diabetes mellitus is one of the oldest characterized diseases in the world. Described in the Ebers
papyrus (1552 BCE, ancient Egypt) as too much urine. By today this disease has become a
worldwide epidemic that is associated with the modern lifestyle. In the recent years there has been
considerable increase in the incidence of both diabetes type I (autoimmune disease, juvenile onset)
and diabetes type II (insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome).Western medicine that is supported by
the pharmaceutical industry regards this disease as chronic and incurable therefore the treatment is
palliative, symptomatic and does not try to restore the patient to a healthy state.By today it is perfectly
clear that the general idea of regarding diabetes mellitus as endocrine disease that involves pancreas
and insulin is completely wrong. Recent studies shows that only 50% from glucose absorption is
insulin dependent. Moreover, it seems that there are many other factors such as leptin, GLP-1 and
others that play essential role in the regulation of glucose uptake. In this era of accelerating changes in
technology a novel method of rapid natural healing appeared.Sujok therapy is the most advanced
form of natural treatment that combines ancient knowledge and modern logic. This modern
combination created an extremely powerful tool for healing of mind and body.Since initiated by Prof.
Park Jae Woo in the late 1980s, this novel and highly effective method is constantly developing like
an open source software. Although the risks of diabetes are life threatening, data from clinics all over
the world and from ISA R&D center shows that in most cases of diabetes type II and in early cases of
diabetes type I, proper treatment can alleviate symptoms and bring the disease to a constant
remission or even to a smile cure. This manual is intended to guide Sujok therapists from various
levels and background in the dungeons of diabetes. Diabetes is extremely complicated on the
physiological levels, with a lot of players and regulators. However, in Sujok therapy, after
understanding the exact pathology, the treatment will be simple and exact, and as you will see at the
end of this manual, the results are impressively immediate.I hope this manual will be of use to
eradicate this epidemic from this world. We are confident of the efficiency of our method and will gladly
support your initiation into our smile world.
The 6 ki theory, is a brilliant upgrade of Prof. Park Jae Woo to the 5 element theory of traditional
Chinese medicine. The first text in Chinese medicine was originated by the yellow emperor, Huang Di
in 2,697 BC[i].The light shed by Prof. Park has created a bridge between the concept energetic
systems of the ancient world. In meridians the life energy flows along a line .There are 12
pairedmeridians in the left and right half of the body. Every meridian is designated by the name of a
solid and hollow organs present in the body. Every human being is born with certain quantity of
energy in every meridian. These 12 meridian energies maintain their equilibrium independently or in
relationship with other 11 meridians with the rules of Six Ki, Eight Ki Symmetrical and Cross linked
relationship termed as Energy constitution. For more details refer to The Six Ki Energy Theory,
Illustration Handbook[ii]. Every meridian independently has normal upper and lower threshold of
energy. When the amount of energy is within this threshold, it is expressed as Normal This state of
normal doesnt produce any symptoms and signs in the patient. Whereas, when amount of energy
rises above the upper threshold, it is termed as Excessiveness (+) of energy and when the amount
of energy goes below the lower threshold it is termed as Deficiency () of energy. Both these
conditions of excessiveness and deficiency, produce disease and discomfort to the patient.
Excessiveness of meridian is known as Hetero state of a meridian. Hetero state of a meridian
expresses symptoms and signs in comparison of deficiency state of a meridian. In excessiveness and
deficiency of energy system, symptoms related to body, mind and soul independently or in
combination can be expressed.[i] Helms JM. Medical acupuncture In: Jonas WB, Levin JS, editors.

Sujok therapy is the most recent and advanced form of complementary medicine. Developed in this
era of accelerating changes and urge to immediate answers.Based on ancient wisdom and modern
logic Prof. Park Jae Woo created the most powerful operating system for the body. The method works
like open source software that allows practitioners to reprogram the body and induce regeneration. By
using various Sujok therapy methods one can bring a whole organism to balance and perfection. The
process of balancing the physical body is based on harmonizing the flows in the energetic (astral)
body.As mentioned above, the human body is a perfect machine that has numerous auto-regulatory
mechanism that are designed to maintain life. A question that is usually raised is why people do not
usually experience natural healing from severe diseases? The answer lays on energetic blockage that
prevents the body from healing. This energetic blockage can be caused by the physical illness but can
get reinforcement from the environment, from emotional imbalance, from stressfactors and from
unbalanced way of living our lives. When a chronic disease appears, that means that something in our
way of living is not correct. If everything was right, this disease would have resolved.By Triorigin
theory, chronic disease means that homo force prevails and it is a time to make change (hetero) in
order to keep life and vitality (Neutro). Now, lets go back to that perfect body of ours. Each cell in our
body constantly regenerates. Cells that regenerate their membranous receptors and organelles are
inspired by the energetic body, and its balance. In the basis of each physical phenomenon (homo) in
this world there were metaphysical phenomena (hetero). When a cell regenerate to an unbalanced
reality, it is remained in an unbalanced state. However, when the whole energetic matrix is
harmonized, newly regenerating cells, organelles, protein transporters, vesicles, enzymes and
molecules will be born to a different reality. A healing reality that will change the functionality of
internal organs and systems. The process of change starts at the molecular and cellular level and from
there will continue to tissues, organs and systems. Depending on the condition of the patient and the
severity of the disease, the change will occur and smile and harmonized life will be reestablished. This change is a process that needs to be supported by the practitioner that provides the
tools and motivation for the healing process.
Insulin exerts its anabolic actions in the liver, the adipose tissue and muscle tissue. At the cellular
level, such target cells possess specific insulin receptors. In the liver, insulin promotes glycogen
synthesis by stimulating the enzyme glycogen synthetase and inhibiting glycogen phosphorylase
although it has no direct effect on the GLUT 2 transporters and, hence, the uptake of glucose into
hepatocytes. In contrast, insulin induces a rapid uptake of glucose in muscle and fat tissue by
recruiting intracellular GLUT 4 transporters and, thus, increasing their cell-surface expression. As a
consequence, muscle converts glucose to glycogen. In adipose tissue, glucose is converted to fatty
acids for storage as triglycerides. Insulin also stimulates the uptake of amino acids into muscle. At the
same time, insulin suppresses the glucose supply from the liver by inhibiting the breakdown of
glycogen in the liver, as well as the release of amino acids from muscle and the release of free fatty
acids from adipose tissue.

Individuals can experience different signs and symptoms of diabetes, and sometimes there may be no
signs. Some of the signs commonly experienced include:
Frequent urination
Excessive thirst
Increased hunger
