Masha Allah, we still practicing, we still going, we still trying to go. The question: "Where are
we going?" It is big question, it is the most important question of our life. Some people, they
say: "We are going to be a famous one." They work for it. Some people, they say: "We are
working to be rich one." They are working for it. Some people, they say: "We are going to be
specialist like a doctor." Some people, they say: "We are going to be engineer." Some people,
they... So, it is the main things - where we are going? So many branches, but the way is one.
So they call it future.
Allah Almighty, He make the future in such a way that it is reachable. He didn't forbid the
future from us. He say here is the future - every morning, you have a new future. Every
morning you wake up, you have a new future, a new day. So, Alhamdulillah, we know that
Allah Almighty, He grant us the future. But in the same time, He put the future in two scales,
one is material and one is spiritual. The material been known. You wake up, either you go for
your study, even you go for your work. This is the material side of it. Is known for everybody.
Wake up, open your door and you are out for your material issue. This is normal, everybody
knows. Now we have the real issue is the spiritual issue. It is very important to understand the
spiritual issue.
Now the people they say: "What is it?" And here, we say the understanding is the most
important key here because without the key, there is no access to anything. When you have
this key - so the key is the understanding. If I can understand, that's mean Allah Almighty He
give me the key. If I cannot understand, that's mean I don't have the key. You look, you look,
you look. It is not the looking here, it is what you see - it is not important. What you
understand from that seeing.
Sometimes, the prime ministers or the politic people or, this is the politic people, let's say
generally, they come and they give a speech. Somebody like me will say: "ooh, what a
speech!" But, somebody he is in politic, and he understand the trick and the meaning of
which, what, how - then, he say: "No, he gave you a nice picture that you don't understand
but in that nice pictures, there is lot of holes, a lot holes that you don't understand. You think
it is nice picture but it is not because I understand what this talking mean." Then, you are as
ordinary person you think: "Ooh, we are woa, we are catching the space, we are catching the
moon, we are catching I don't know what. But normally, you are in big trouble.

Understanding, it is all understanding. Now, in the spiritual being, our understanding must
be important.
What Mawlana Sheikh us was teaching us? Teaching us the spirituality. Don't come to
Mawlana Sheikh with dunya matter. Don't come to Mawlana Sheikh with material matter.
Because Mawlana Sheikh, he long time forget about that. It is not in his interest. He is
interest in the spirituality. That's why the spiritual understanding, because we have the
spiritual future here. If we are giving our heart for the Master, we have to keep our heart with
the Master. This is the spiritual winning. Because whatever you do in this world, it is have
one concept - winning. Nobody can carry the losing. Say: "How can I lose? How can I lose?"
If somebody put hundred pounds or hundred dollars or hundred lira, and then, the second
day, they tell him you have your hundred dollar or your hundred pound or your hundred lira
become fifty. You see that man how he become crazy. "It's four hundred, one hundred.. How
come my hundred become fifty? How you make me this loss, how you?" He make noise, he
make noise, he make noise that you cannot understand. Say: "Ya Hu, only fifty lira, it is not
end of the world." Even that, he will be very angry because our nature cannot stand the
losing, cannot stand the losing.
What about your spiritual losing? Why you give it so easy? Why you give it so easy? Why?
You think the master is not here so ok, we give it so easy? This is the place that you have to
wake up. It is the point that we have to wake up. It is very important. The Master is still
existing. If the Master doesn't show address, then you say: "The Master is not existing." But,
alhamdulillah, the Master says: "I have address, you continue your spiritual winning." Don't
lose it, don't lose it. It is very important. I am sorry for so many people, they say: "Ah, we
know the Master but, the rest we don't know, we don't care." You are loser! This is definite,
you are loser! Because the Master will never forgive you for such a things.
How you are following the Master, and you are not following the master? That is two things.
"Yes, I follow the master, I love the master but... the new Master maybe is not as my head,
maybe mmhh... I don't like him, maybe so quiet, maybe this, maybe that..." You cannot. It is
not your level to decide who is your Master and how to follow your Master. Because, if the
Master telling you he is the one then you have to understand.
Last night, I was watching The God Father 1. Yes. It is big teaching there. The son become
the head of the family. And the father telling: "I am not, don't speak to me, speak to him. He
is the head." Ya Hu, this is dunya matter teaching you and you are stupid to have the highest
rank of spirituality and then you say: "No, it is not in my mind. "I don't like it, I don't this, I
don't that..." No! This is dunya things is teaching you. You are in the high level. You are in
the high level of spirituality. Yani, it is not to say: "I am, How can be, how can I decide?"
This is dunya things, is teaching you such a things. I was surprised, I was telling to my son:
"Look this is dunya things and he say: 'I give up, I am not ruling anymore, he is the one
ruling.'"

Mawlana Sheikh he was ruling until the end and then, after that, he says: "My Khalifa, my
successor, and the new Sheikh - he is not successor anymore, he is the new Sheikh." He
appoint now successor, he appoint successor. We are not his successor, he will appoint and
say: "I don't like behavior, you are not the one to be my successor." I have to obey, anybody
have to obey. He said: "This secret, it should be go there, it should be go there, it should be
go there, it should be..." He can decide. When the ruling Sheikh is there, he had the power.
You cannot bypass him. You cannot bypass him. There is no things called 'bypass the
Sheikh'. I am sorry to say. Who know, among our Jama'a, or Mawlana Sheikh followers, who
know Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah (qs)? Anybody have physical touch to him? I am not talking
about the minority, I am talking about the majority. I am talking about the majority.
I have contact with Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah. I kiss his hand. I been in his table. I eat from
his food. I drink from his water. I drink tea with him. He give me my ten pennies those days
ten qurush, and I was serving him, bringing him fresh egg - but I was a kid. I was only, when
he passed away, I was ten years old. So what you expect from ten years old, to get anything
from Grandsheikh? He get the blessing, Amana wa Sadaqna, this is.
No, but, for others, they see Mawlana Sheikh Nazim. Mawlana Sheikh Nazim, everybody see
Mawlana Sheikh Nazim. Everybody, everybody see Mawlana Sheikh Nazim. Now Mawlana
Sheikh Nazim, he say: "Everybody must see Sheikh Mehmet." Sheikh Muhammad, because
he is the one carrying, so there is no bypassing from Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah to others. No.
It is not, not the game. Be careful about your spiritual winning because you are playing in
dangerous field. This, you cannot stand the losing that you will get. You cannot stand it.
Because, in dunya, maybe your hundred pound or hundred dollar or hundred lira become
fifty, but you still can manage to get another hundred lira to make another hundred fifty and
you can recover your losses. But in spirituality you are not able to cover your losses. This is
been known.
This is been known, very well known. That's why my advice, my humble advice, before it
come too late, because the life is so short. Believe me it is really short. Even you stand here
one million years, it is still short. Because, rahmatullah 'alayha, my mother she was saying:
"My son, be patient, it is only counted days." Can you imagine, when she says: "it is only
counted days"? When it is counted day, it's finish. Be sure, it will be finish. When you say
counted days is finish. One, two, three, it will be million. Because: tic, tic, tic, tic, tic, tic..., it
will be finish. So, when you have counted days, it is short. Especially those days. Now, we are
almost going to end of the summer. Yesterday, we been waiting for summer, now we are it's
only ten days left for summer to leave, summer holiday. Everybody will come back for work.
Everybody will come back for his because the holiday is over. Ya Hu, yesterday we happy to
go on the summer.. Finish!
This is timing, it's flying. That's why you have to say: "Astaghfirullah l-Azim wa atubu ilay."
Let me follow my Sheikh order, let me be with my Sheikh. Let me continue my spiritual
journey with my Sheikh. The title is not important. The people, they can give you any title.
They can give me - I am, I am the mega-sultan, of the salatin, the emperor of the Awliya and

I am the one, like that and I am... I can say that, no problem. Do I? Do I truly like this? I can
be the most powerful awliya in this dunya maybe and even in akhira, and maybe I have stairs,
automatic ones that take me to the space and take me to - I don't know where. Do I? Can I
be like Muhyidin Ibn Arabi, for example? No way. Can I be like 'Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani, for
example? Impossible. Can I be like Shah Naqshband? It is nonnegotiable. But I can put ten
page of titles, and I can put ten page in dunya titles, professor, doctor, magester and I don't
know what. so, maybe premier school, kinder school also. All, I put there. So, do I have all
this? No.
You have to be humble to Allah Almighty. Look for your Sheikh. Look for your Sheikh, how
he was the Sheikh? Where he live? Are he living in the castles? Are he living in the palaces?
Are he living in luxury? Are he was living like this? No, your Sheikh he was humble, he been
humble, he been humble. He trying to be more humble. He trying to be more and more
humble. Why? Because his humbleness to his Lord! Not for people to be proud, for people to
say: "I am the one. I am this. I am that. I am the professor. "I am the mega-sultan emperor,
whatever awliya, awliya." Why? Awliya. Oh, Awliya, Awliya... Awliya.. No, don't act. Don't
act. The acting is not for us. Because Allah Almighty knows the reality. You can cheat
everybody but you cannot cheat Allah Almighty. This is important things. You have to have
your conscience. You have to have your heart and you have to know with whom you are
dealing .
Maybe I am minor mind, I can believe you. Maybe you are minor mind, you can believe me
- I am the mega-emperor sultan salatin awliya. You, believe me. Alhamdulillah. I am very
happy that you believe me. It's not like this. is never work like this. Is never work like this.
You must say: "Astaghfirullah l-Azim wa atubu ilayh" - [I ask forgiveness] from my ego.
Whatever you do, it's from your ego. Whatever I do, it's from my ego. I am egoistic person.
To say I am the mega-empire Mimpire, gintire, ontire, tire awliya. I am ruling the world, I
am the ruling the climate. I am ruling this, I am ruling that. You cannot rule nothing. You
cannot rule yourself. Are you able to say you can rule yourself? Are you able to say this? No.
If you have headache, you will take tablet. How you are ruling the world? If you have blood
pressure you will take tablet immediately. How you are ruling the world?
Allah Almighty He is the Absolute Ruler. You are, you must learn to be humble to your
Lord. You have to learn to be humble to your Lord Allah Almighty, the Absolute Governing,
Absolute. Nobody can get anything without His permission. May Allah forgives us and makes
us good here and Hereafter and to make us to understand to not lose our spiritual aim.

Subhanim Allah, Sultanim Allah Nabim Muhammad alaihi salam Subhanim Allah, Sultanim

alaihi salam Wa salli Ya Rabbi wa sallim ala jami al-'anbiya wa l-mursalin, wa ala kulli
