Learning to talk is one of the most visible and important achievements of early

childhood. In a matter of months, and without explicit teaching, toddlers move from hesitant
single words to fluent sentences, and from a small vocabulary to one that is growing by six
new words a day. New language tools mean new opportunities for social understanding, for
learning about the world, and for sharing experiences, pleasures and needs.
Most children begin speaking during their second year and by age two are likely to
know at least 50 words and to be combining them in short phrases.Once vocabulary size
reaches about 200 words, the rate of word learning increases dramatically and grammatical
function words such as articles and prepositions begin to appear with some
consistency.During the preschool years, sentence patterns become increasingly complex
and vocabulary diversifies to include relational terms that express notions of size, location,
quantity and time,By the age of four to six or so, most children have acquired the basic
grammar of the sentence. From that point onward, children learn to use language more
efficiently and more effectively. They also learn how to create, and maintain, larger language
units such as conversation or narrative.
Hearing your child's first words is truly music to your ears. Factor's ranging from a
child's natural growth progression to outside influences such as peers or siblings can all
affect language development .one of the factor that influencing childrens language
development is language development and milestones. While not every child will reach
language milestones at the same age, the natural progression of human development is a
prime factor in influencing how kids communicate. For example, it's unlikely that your 1-yearold will have the ability to put three or four words together to make a sentence. When it
comes to milestones, Parents note that by 12 months, most kids can understand up to 50
words, say three or so words and comprehend simple sentences or directions. This jumps to
understanding up to 900 words and speaking more than 570 words by 30 months. By the
time your child is ready to start kindergarten, chances are that he knows more than 4,000
words, can follow multistep directions and understands the basics of grammar. Although
outside influences can affect this progression, the developmental processes occurring in
your child are prerequisites for meeting these marks.
The other factor is Social Influences. This is so important to influencing in every child
lamguage development. From early on, social factors are influencing your child's language
development. For exmple when the child turn 1 years old they absorbing what they hear from
other people, including mom, dad, siblings or other caregivers, as they develop language
skills. Additionally, children in the toddler years can infer meaning based on another person's
intonation. While social influences on language development include increasing a child's

vocabulary and helping her to better understand meanings and contexts for the spoken
word, not all outside environments are equal.
Developmental and Medical Issues are also the factor of child language development
because Some childrens language development doesn't follow a typical pattern. While many
reasons are responsible for late language learning, or slow progression, a developmental or
medical condition is often the culprit. According to American Speech-Language-Hearing
Association, issues that might affect a childs language development include attention deficit
hyperactivity disorder, autism, cleft lip and palate, and traumatic brain injury. For example, an
autistic child might not speak, have limited speech, have poor vocabulary development or
difficulty when trying to express needs or wants verbally.
Education one of the factor in child language development .When kid in their
preschool the teacher use better language to develop more languange to kids.Kids that
usually go to preshcool is 3 to 5 years old so they still learning to speak so the education in
school can make improve child language .
