Grace and Glory.

You can't have one without the other.

Psalms 84:11; Psalms 8:4-6; Hebrews 2:10; 1 Peter 5:10

Psalms 84:11 For the LORD God [is] a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and
glory: no good [thing] will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

The Lord will give grace and glory, in case you don't understand what that
means, he explains it further; no good thing will he withhold.
Glory defined:- glory is not just a cloud filling the room, glory is God's
goodness, glory is every good thing from God. Glory is wealth, glory is
abundance. (Glory can be seen; Isaiah 60:1,2)

Psalms 8:4-6 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that
thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast
crowned him with glory and honour. 6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the
works of thy hands; thou hast put all [things] under his feet:
The book of Psalms chapter 8 describes man in his original state, he was crowned
with glory and honour. Glory talks of wealth, health, abundance, anything and
everything good. - A life of significance, a life of dominion, a life of beauty and
fulfillment.
Adam lived and walked in the glory of God before the fall. He lacked nothing, he
enjoyed the goodness of GOD. The glory of GOD is His goodness. Exodus 33:13-19
13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy
way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this
nation is thy people.
14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.
15 And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.
16 For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy
sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy
people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.
17 And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken:
for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.
18 And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.
19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim
the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious,
and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

God's original intent and purpose is for man to live and walk in His glory.( Genesis
1:31; 2:8) ie all of His goodness.
What GOD had always had in mind for man was for him to experience His glory.(1
Corinthians 2:7,8; But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden
wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 Which none of the
princes of this world knew:for had they known it, they would not have crucified the
Lord of glory.
Romans 8:30;Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called:and whom
he called, them he also justified:and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
2 Peter 1:3; According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that
pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to
glory and virtue:
That has always been His plan and purpose for man. It is important that we know
that has not change.
God's counsel will stand, His purpose will prevail.

Man's fall.

The fall of man has not change the counsel and the purpose of GOD, rather it has
help to fulfill it. (God has not change His mind, counsel and purpose concerning you,
no matter what you have done, where you have been, or how messed up you are.)
Often we talk about the fall of man, but many of us don't know what it is and where
man fell from.
Man, fell not from heaven, because he was on earth when he fell. Man fell from
dominion, he fell from glory; Romans 3:23; "...for all have sinned, and come short of
the glory of GOD.
Redemption is restoring man back to where he fell from, restoring man to glory,
honour and dominion. It is not just getting man to heaven.
*[[Heb 2:10]] KJV* For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all
things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation
perfect through sufferings.
God's purpose must stand and because He has not changed, His plan and intent
concerning man, He worked at bringing or taking us back to glory(Redemption).
Now let's see how He did it; "...to make the captain of their Salvation perfect
through sufferings.
1 Peter 1:10-11 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched
diligently, who prophesied of the grace [that should come] unto you: 11 Searching

what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify,
when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should
follow.
When the prophets prophesied of the grace that should come to us, they were
actually talking or prophesying about the sufferings of Christ and then the glory to
follow.
So the grace of God is all about the sufferings of Christ and the glory that should
follow(or our coming into that glory; Hebrews 2:10)
A supporting Scripture to that is 2 Corinthians 8:9; For ye know the grace of our Lord
Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye
through his poverty might be rich.

See 1 Peter 2:24; 2 Corinthians 5:21- 6:

We cannot talk about the grace of God without talking about the glory that follows.
Grace actually is the restoration of glory. Grace restored us back to glory; Romans
3:23, 24.
Revelation 5:9-12; "...for thou was slain(His suffering)...and hast made us unto our
God kings and priests and we shall reign(glory that should follow.

GOD is a cheerful giver

GOD loves to give, especially to his children, and it honors him when you receive
from him, it brings or gives him pleasure. The Scripture says it is your father good
pleasure to give..., yet many of us have denied him of this pleasure by not receiving
from him.
The scripture says, It is more blessed to give, than to receive. God must always
take the place of the more blessed one. That's why you cannot out give Him,
Whatever you give to Him, He multiplies it and give it back to you.
For, Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly
or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. God is a cheerful giver.
GOD not only loves a cheerful giver, he is a cheerful giver.
* In Luke 15, why do you think the father was in a hurry to give the younger son his
inheritance, and even after he squandered it, the father still gave him. In my own
opinion the father is more pleased with the younger one than he is the elder one.

Friends, it's time you and I began to give GOD pleasure by receiving from Him, by
receiving what He has freely given to us.
Rise up on your feet and let's worship him, may be someone of us need to repent to
night for denying GOD of this pleasure. What you need to night, lift up your hands
and say father I RECEIVE your goodness, if it's healing, just receive it, if it's financial
breakthrough, just receive it.

Established In Grace.

Hebrews 13:9; Romans 5:1,2

Hebrews 13:9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For [it is] a
good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not
profited them that have been occupied therein. * please, see other translations.
How established are you? How established is your heart? Psalm 112:6- , talks about
an established man. Established means to be firm, strong, secure, etc. No wonder
Paul told Timothy to be strong in grace.
2 Timothy 2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
2 Peter 3:18 says to grow in grace;

How do you grow in grace, how do you become strong in grace, how do you
become established in grace? I will come back to this subject later.

Romans 5:1-2 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through
our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace
wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. * see 1 Peter 5:12
The only stand we have is in grace, any attempt to stand in anything else frustrate
the grace of God and lives us vulnerable. See Galatians 2:21
Many believers are not established in the grace of God, yet that is the key/secret to
a consistent life of victory and blessing. Colossians 1:5-6 For the hope which is laid
up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
6 Which is come unto you, as [it is] in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as [it
doth] also in you, since the day ye heard [of it], and knew the grace of God in truth
The fruits of the Gospel is not seen in our lives, because we don't know and are not
established in the grace of God.

Colossians 1:6(GNB); The Gospel keeps bringing blessings and is spreading

throughout the world, just as it has among you ever since the day you first heard
about the grace of God and came to know it as it really is..."
Colossians 1:6(Amplfied);Which has come to you. Indeed, in the whole world [that
Gospel] is bearing fruit and still is growing [by its own inherent power], even as it
has done among yourselves ever since the day you first heard and came to know
and understand the grace of God in truth. [You came to know the grace or
undeserved favor of God in reality, deeply and clearly and thoroughly, becoming
accurately and intimately acquainted with it.]
Apostle Paul writing his son in the faith said in 2 Timothy 2:1; "Thou therefore my
son be strong (empower, enable, strengthen, be(make) strong) in the grace that is
in Christ Jesus. The strength to live victorious comes from being established in
grace.(Romans 6:14).

To grow in anything, you have to feed, feed on God's grace.(word feast; Acts
20:32)

First you have to know what grace is. Grace is all that Jesus through his death, burial
and resurrection accomplished for us.(2 Corinthians 8:9) that was Paul definition or
explanation of grace.
Grace is all that we have been given in Christ Jesus, it is all that we have become in
Christ Jesus, it is all that we can do, all that we have in Christ Jesus.
When you grow in the knowledge of all this, you automatically grow in grace. Grace
and peace be multiplied through knowledge of God.
You become strong, established, and grow in grace through knowledge, knowledge
of what grace is, what grace can do, or has done, etc.
The Scripture says a man of knowledge increases in strength. "They that
know...shall be strong..." (Proverbs 24:5; Daniel 11:32)

Grace and righteousness.

When you read through the epistle of Paul, you will quickly recognized the link
between grace and righteousness, except you are not a careful/ diligent reader. See
Gal 2:21; I do not frustrate the grace of God:for if righteousness come by the law,
then Christ is dead in vain.
Romans 5:17; "...much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift
of righteousness shall reign in life by one Jesus Christ... "
2Co 5:21 - 6:1

21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made
the righteousness of God in him.
Chapter 6
1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the
grace of God in vain.
So the key to our reigning in life is understanding our righteous position. That we
have been made righteous, not that we are becoming or that we will be, but that we
have been made righteous. That we are righteous NOW. Romans 3:21,22
Isaiah 54:14; "...In righteousness shalt thou be established, thou shalt be far from
oppression, for thou shalt not fear and from terror: it shall not come near
thee..."( when you are established in righteousness (grace).
Many believers are not established (To be strong, steady and secure) in
righteousness, that's why they fear and are in terror.
Many believers don't even know or understand what righteousness is, they think it
is their good works, deeds, their efforts and performance. They think they are
righteous by observing the law or certain rules. See: Romans 3:20; Romans 7:9; 1
Corinthians 15:56; Galatians 2:21; 3:21

Grace and The Law

Let me say this; the danger of not getting established in grace is that you end up
getting established in something else.(Galatians 1:6). If you are not standing in
grace, you will stand in something else.
If you're not established in grace, you will be established in the works of the laws John 1:16,17
For so long the law has been preached to us, and it has made us sin conscious and
given us a sense of condemnation. Romans 3:20(KJV); Therefore by the deeds of the
law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of
sin.
Romans 3:20(NIV); Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God's sight by the
works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.
Whatever you are conscious of is what you will experience, that is what you will
manifest/live. That's why under the law, sin had dominion(Romans 6:14), because
they were always conscious of sin.
The law can, and will only make you to be conscious of sin. And you will never live
above sin by been conscious of sin, but by been conscious of your righteousness in
Christ. 1 Corinthians 15;34

Hear this, sin consciousness will not keep you from sinning or make you live above
sin.
Sin consciousness will not bring about holiness in our lives, it's not by telling us our
sinful and unrighteous we are that will about right living.
What we should be conscious of is how holy and righteous we are, and that will keep
us away from sin. * see 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; 6:15,19; 3:16
Every where the law is been preached, I guarantee you that the people are under
the dominion of sin and condemnation. You cannot preached the law and not
condemn the people. Even though that may not be your intention, why? Apostle
Paul calls it(the law) the ministry of condemnation. 2 Corinthians 3:6-9
Wake up every morning and tell yourself how holy and how righteous you are, keep
that in your mind all day. As a man thinketh...
Right living is a result of right believing which is a result of right thinking. Right
thinking will bring about right living.
Until you are free from the law, you will not be able to properly relate with
God/Christ. Romans 7:4. The greatest hindrance to our relationship with God is the
law.
The only way to bear fruit unto God is to be married to another(to Him), to have a
relationship with him, and to died to the law. You can keep all the laws and not have
a relationship.

Let's talk about grace:- we need to hear more about grace. Preaching grace is
not making Christianity too easy or cheap, I wondered at times why we even
think that Christianity should be hard and difficult. Matthew 11:

Preaching grace is not giving people a license to sin, or to live carelessly and
without discipline. Romans 6:14; Titus 2:11. Grace empowers you not to sin, to live
above sin(Romans 5:17).
Why are we not experiencing this power? We have not received it or accepted it.
(Galatians 2:21). Many of us don't even know such was available to us.
Simply speaking, GRACE is All that God has done/ accomplished for us in Christ; 2
Corinthians 5:21-6:1;
Grace is the finished work of Christ. 2 Timothy 1:9; Ephesians 3:11(NIV)
"....according to his Eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our
Lord....In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and
confidence... "

Ephesians 3:11(English Standard Version); "...This was according to the Eternal

purpose that he has realised in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Ephesians 3:11(GNB); "God did this according to his Eternal purpose, which
achieved through Christ Jesus our Lord. "
Note:- He has made us righteous (2 Corinthians 5:21), He has made us holy, he has
blessed us( Ephesians 1:3, 2 Corinthians 8:9), he has healed us(1 Peter 2:24)
This is the grace of God. This is what we must received and accept. Romans 5:17
and be established in.
The works of the law on the other hand is all about you and effort(performance).

Additional note; But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it
is evident: for the just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith, but the
man that doeth them shall live in them...

The law is not of faith and without faith it is impossible to please God. The Scripture
tells us why the law is not faith, "... but the man that doeth... ( the focus/attention is
on the man, God is out of the picture, God and what He has done (His provisions) is
not been considered or thought of.
The law does not factor in God, his provisions, what he has accomplished. It's the
man's own effort and performance.
Faith on the other hand has nothing to do with what you do or what you must do.
Faith is simply believing, receiving and declaring what God has done, and is doing
for you(Romans 10:6-10)
