Regional Media and Publications subcommittee 2015-16

Subcommittee members work under the EMRO regional working group and
their work is more specific to certain activities. These positions require little or
no travelling although it is advisable to attend the 5th IPSF EMPS, the 62nd IPSF
World Congress and your subcommittee meeting if one is scheduled. You
should be able to work on a daily basis throughout the year in your position
and have regular internet access;you must be reachable throughout your entire
term.
IPSF EMRO is calling for interested and talented members to be part of the
Regional Media and Publications Subcommittee 2015-16.
This subcommittee will work with the IPSF EMRO Regional Media and
Publications Officer (RMPO) on the following tasks:
- Assisting the RMPO in the continuous update of the EMRO official social
network pages by publishing videos and pictures as well as sharing statuses and
information.
- Assisting the RMPO in creating and designing videos promoting EMRO and its
activities with the best quality.
-Helping in the design, the review and the development process of publication
materials such as flyers,posters, banners and booklets for EMRO events and
projects, based on the EMRO theme principles.
-Innovating new ways to educate, promote and reach-out to IPSF EMRO
members.

The members of this committee should:

- Have a basic knowledge of web design and updating the contents of a website
(Note that knowledge of the use of WordPress is a plus and not required)
-Have a good knowledge of designing and motion graphics programs such as
Illustrator,InDesign, After Effects and Photoshop.
-Have basic knowledge of google products and techniques such as google drive.
- Have basics of Marketing (especially online Marketing).
- Be able to give creative ideas and work within a team.
-Be fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic.
-Have a good time management skills.
Time commitment for this position ranges from 8-10 hours per week.
