It is easy to install Hindenburg on your computer. Press the
Download link from the purchase or trial mail and you will be
directed to the website. From here you download the installation

The auto update function will every week look for new updates. It
is also possible to dibble the automatic update and update
manually.
Updates could be small bug fixes or new features.

Get an overview of some of the basic layout in Hindenburg.
All the tools you need are at hand. There are no modes or special
tools needed for creating a great audio production.
Hindenburg is a dock-able program so additional features can be
docked to the interface - e.g the Call Recorder, Favorites or
Chapters.

1.2.1. Waveforms
The waveforms in Hindenburg are rectified waveforms.
In short this gives you double the amount of information about
the audio than regular waveforms.
As standard the waveforms have different shades of color. The
lightest color is the peaks - the darkest color is the RMS value
how loud it sounds

Import Audio
1.3.1. Import - file manager
Cmd + T
Import audio into the workspace.
You can import any audio that can otherwise be played on your
computer. This also includes audio from video clips.
Decoding: All audio will be converted to Wav audio format and
saved in the session file folder, when you save the session.
Analyzing: The audio levels will be analyzed and set correctly for
broadcast use

Drag & Drop audio into the workspace.
You can import any audio that can otherwise be played on your
computer with Drag & Drop. This also includes audio from video
clips. Drag & Drop from you file manager or music library (e.g
iTunes or Mediaplayer)

3 Decoding & analyzing

a Wav. file will be created and auto level will be


applied

1.3.3. Import - sample rate


If you import an audio file with a sample-rate format the is
different from the session sample rate, Hindenburg will
automatically convert it..
If there is no current audio in the session, the you will be asked
Do you want to change the sample-rate of the session .. . If
you answer yes, the the session sample-rate will be converted to
fit the sample rate of the selected audio. Do this if all you audio is
recorded in a specific sample-rate, like 48 KHz
Decoding: All audio will be converted to Wav audio format and
saved in the session file folder, when you save the session.
Analyzing: The audio levels will be analyzed and set correctly for
broadcast use
