Veristar Family Software

SEA-KEEPING ANALYSIS SOFTWARE

HydroSTAR is an advanced hydrodynamic software. It benefits from more

than 25 years of development and is continuously updated and improved

to raise technological challenges. HydroSTAR has been extensively tested
and validated through comparison with semi-analytical studies, numerical
results from recognized tools and experimental data.

Dynamic coupling between liquid motions in internal tanks and the ship motions
is handled by HydroStar. This is particularly important for LNG-FPSO and
FSRU whose motions are significantly modified by the coupling effect.

Hydro-Structure
software Homer2
Generalized modes calculation: HydroStar is able to solve the hydro-dynamic
problem on user defined modes. This is a crucial step towards hydro-elastic
calculation (see Bureau Veritas hydro-structure tool Homer2).

HydroStar deals with side-by-side configuration as it handles multi-body

interactions. Moreover, it benefits from an efficient way to introduce fluid
dissipation which is critically important to get realistic prediction of resonance in
the gap between two ships. The whole method has been validated through
model tests.

HydroStar is supported by teams of experienced engineers and

developers who use the software daily. Local technical teams are set
around the world in order to provide you with the most adapted services.
