As TV5 was launched last night, March 25, at

the World Trade Center, one of the guests who
was spotted backstage was Kristine Hermosa.
The ABS-CBN actress clarified that she had no
plans of transferring to the station that has been
dubbed as the "Kapatid Network." Kristine was
there to show her support for Midnight DJ, the
TV show topbilled by her boyfriend Oyo Sotto.

In an exclusive interview with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last night, Kristine said
that she had just finished taping the ABS-CBN afternoon series Precious Hearts Romances
Presents Piso Para sa Puso where she is paired with Oyo.

"It was great. We both enjoyed taping it. Siyempre, we're together so hindi na namin kailangan
pang mag-adjust-adjust to each other."

In a previous interview with PEP last September 2009, Kristine said that she and Oyo were not
yet a couple but she hoped that they would soon become "boyfriend and girlfriend."

This 2010, Kristine herself admitted that she and Oyo are already a couple. Why is she now very
open about her relationship with Oyo when she avoided calling him her boyfriend in the past?

"We were naman, pero kumbaga wala pang development," she explained. "Wala pa kaming
masabi that much. We were open about the relationship...pero siguro yung mga people, hindi nila
gusto yung mga naririnig nila from us. So, parang feeling nila, hindi kami nagsasabi ng totoo.

"Pareho namang special kami sa isa't isa and ayaw namin mag-commit pa kasi gusto namin pag
nag-commit kami, gusto namin, diretso wedding na. Kumbaga, ayaw na namin mag-waste ng
time na hindi naman siya ang guy for me at hindi naman ako para sa kanya."
When do they plan to tie the knot?

"Pag na-feel na namin na gusto na naming magpakasal na!" said Kristine with a laugh.

Has Oyo proposed to her already?

"Hindi pa. Ayoko namang pangunahan ang mga plano ni Oyo at ayoko namang pangunahan ang
mga iniisip niya. Pero as of the moment, we're just enjoying each other's company."

Kristine is 27 years old. Does she have an ideal marrying age?

"Actually, nalagpasan ko na yung age na yun, e. Sabi ko, by age 25, dapat may baby na ako, e.
Pero parang lagpas-lagpas na! So ngayon, wala nang time line. Bahala na si God."

PEP asked Kristine is she has thought about her dream wedding.

"It depends kung anong wedding ang ibigay sa akin ni God. Pero kung ako ang papipiliin, it
would be a garden or some place else na overlooking somewhere. Pero ayoko masyado ng
church," she said.

Would she be open to the possibility of having it aired on television?

"Definitely not," she replied. "Kung ikakasal ako, gusto ko solemn. Ayoko ng may media. After
na lang siguro. Ise-share naman namin yung happy moment namin, e."

She said their respective families are already well acquainted with each other. "Matagal na
nilang kilala si Oyo, start pa lang ng friendship namin, kilalang-kilala na nila si Oyo. Yun din
ang maganda sa friendship namin kasi tanggap siya ng family ko at ako rin, tanggap ng family
niya."

She mentioned that she calls Vic Sotto, Oyo's father, "Bossing" while she calls Dina Bonnevie,
Oyo's mother, "Tita Dina."

What are the qualities that she likes most about Oyo?

"Matiyaga, hindi siya yung typical guy na mahilig mag-flirt with other girls. Maprinsipyong tao
Paninidigan niya yun, no
matter what."

Does she think Oyo would be a good husband?

"Oo naman!" exclaimed Kristine, as the interview ended.
