Early Childhood Education
Assessing the environment that we create for children provides us with a lot of information about the potential for
literacy and numeracy development.
These are environmental scan and mapping of the service providers outside the school that could partner in the
improvement of literacy and numeracy development of children.
Upon knowing the present facilities/venues that may provide services it is also easier to identify the need of the
school for literacy and numeracy support and the necessary support from community.

Interaction
The nurse lectures and demonstrates First Aid
She shows pictures and charts to pupils.At the same time ask pupils how do they
describe it and if they can do it.
Introduces new words.
Talks about cause and effect of different activities without knowing the
precautionary measures
Kindergarten share their ideas of good hygiene and its benefits and advantages
Driver talks about how long the travel is and the gasoline needed for the travel.
Childre divide the fare equally
Learn to mix paint to achieve desired color for the beautification
Kindergarten pupils notices the different colors and tries to identify them
The teacher plays with the children and asks whether the walk is long or short or
whether the school is near or far from the Gym
Children are asked to follow the rules of the games.
