The pond that we are filming

by often has many ducks.

At the side of the water is a

narrow path so there is
limited space for both
passers-by and us.
We are filming next to a
childrens park and near
water so if they wonder
towards us intrigued they
could trip in.
At the end of the year it is
going to be very cold and the
actors will need to be in
costumes that wont
necessarily be very warm.
Filming at the end of the
year, it will be very cold and
the pond often freezes over
so we need to be careful
whether frozen or not.

Hazards Assessment
For each hazard/ risk listed above state who is at risk (crew, public, etc), what the
risks are and how the risks will be controlled taking into account rules and laws that
apply. Controls should be selected using hierarchy risk control Eliminate, Substitute,
Isolate, Supervise, Competent Staff, Specialists, Protective clothing/equipment, First
Aid/ emergency/ rescue facilities.
Control measures to minimise
risk

We will need to be aware that they are

there and be cautious not to drop
anything near them or scare them with
movement when filming.
We need to be aware that we are using
a public foot path and make sure we
move accordingly when the public are
trying to gain access to the park.
The only thing we can do is to be aware
that they are there and to be cautious
if they do approach us near the water.

Crew should wear coats and actors

should wear coats in between shots if
their costume isnt warm enough.

We need to stay a reasonable distance

away from the water in case anybody
accidently trips or falls in. We also
need to be aware that dropping
equipment in the water could happen.
