I beg to express my interest in the empanelment as a panel advocate with The Oriental
Insurance Co. Ltd. for the Lucknow High Court and the Lucknow District Court and also the
State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Uttar Pradesh and the District Consumer
Forum and the office of the Workman Commissioner under the Employees Compensation Act
in Lucknow.
I had been working with the Project Finance team at SJ Law, Advocates and Solicitors,
Mumbai since June, 2011 till February 2012. Since then, I have worked in Bajaj Allianz
General Insurance Company in a litigation vertical for a year and am presently working with
Khaitan Sud & partners, Solicitors and Advocates in the litigation team. I have been looking
for an opportunity to work as an independent advocate empanelled in a prestigious
organization like yours for quite a long time. I believe that I have the skills, dedication and

I have a bachelors degree in law (B.A., LL.B (Hons.)) from the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya
National Law University, Lucknow and during the course of my legal education, I have been
exposed to working in the fields of litigation, project finance and insurance.
As an Associate at SJ Law, I assisted in formulating, drafting and negotiating consortium
documents in connection with Project Financing and provide specific advice, as may be
requested, on all finance and security documentation. My association with SJ Law gave me
an extensive exposure to legal drafting and conveyancing.
In Bajaj Allianz, my work involved handling litigation matters related to Third Party MACT
(Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal) cases in various parts of the Uttar Pradesh and
Uttarakhand region. I also handled Consumer cases involving the company throughout Uttar
Pradesh and Uttarakhand. I was also responsible for briefing empanelled advocates about the
facts of the cases and telling them about the suitable defences under the Motor Vehicles Act
or any other relevant statute so as to exonerate the company from any kind of liability in
cases where the company should not be indemnifying the claimants. I was also directly
involved in settlement of a huge number of cases wherein the Insurance Company had no
statutory defence under the Motor Vehicles Act and helped avoid interest and reducing
liability while also avoiding the pendency of futile litigation.

In Khaitan Sud & partners, Solicitors and Advocates, I handle independently, litigation
matters related to Third Party Motor Accident Claims in MACT (Motor Accidents Claims
Tribunal) and civil suits of diverse nature, mostly relating to insurance. I also handle
litigation matters in WC Cases and Consumer Matters in various courts and forums
throughout New Delhi. My work includes Drafting of Plaints, Written Statements,
Rejoinders/ Replications, Evidences by way of Affidavit, Written Arguments, Revision
Petitions, Appeal Memos for the High Court, and Special Leave Petitions for the Supreme
Court of India. I also argue consumer matters and cross examine witnesses in MACT cases.
I am also proven myself to be very hard working in places where I have worked and because
of the natural knack I have for research and because I have always never found any difficulty
in communicating with people, I have always believed that litigation and Insurance are the
areas where I can excel. With my work experience which is extensive in the field of insurance
litigation and a solid educational background, I can assure you that I will be a fine candidate
