DESKTOP SUPPORT TECHNICIAN (full –time position)


This position assists staff with technical support of desktop computers, applications, and related technology. Support includes
specification, installation, and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines. Activities require
interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve PC issues. The position consults end users in one-
on-one environment. The employee in this position also assists in the maintenance and testing of network servers and associated
equipment. The position’s responsibilities require independent analyses, communication and problem solving. Work is performed with
little supervision and requires initiative and judgment. This position reports directly to the Director of Technology Services.
 Significant training and hands-on experience directly relating to the job duties
 Must have some progressive technical experience in a help desk or desktop support role.
 Must have PC hardware and software troubleshooting experience. A+ certification preferred.
 Must have the ability to identify and correct system problems.
 Knowledge and experience working with the following technologies a plus:
 Windows XP professional
 Microsoft Office Suite
 Internet Explorer
 Symantec Antivirus
 Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
 Must be self-motivated.
 Must be a team player.
 Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends if required.
 Salary Range: $3,083 – $3,750 per month

BUSINESS ANALYST – DATABASE (full-time position)


Coordinates physical changes to computer databases; and codes, tests, and implements physical database by performing the following
duties.
 Significant training and hands-on experience directly relating to the job duties
 Must have some progressive technical experience in a help desk or desktop support role.
 Must have PC hardware and software troubleshooting experience. A+ certification preferred.

The Communications & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of marketing and communications activities to
support the development team and the needs of SEI.

 Must have high school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years related experience.
 Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
 Must have excellent writing and editing skills.
 Ability to handle multiple tasks with varying deadlines.
 Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with diverse groups of people (i.e., N/NE community, donors,
volunteers, committee members and staff).
 Must be a team player and have a professional attitude.
 Must have strong word processing and database management skills. Computer graphic design skills a plus.
 Ability to use personal initiative and cooperation in performing job duties.
 Must be a self-starter.
 Salary Range: $2,661 – $3,858 per month.

GRANT WRITER (full-time position)


The Grant writer is the primary researcher and writer for all grants, proposals, letters of intent, and reports.

 Must have high school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years related experience.
 Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
 Must have excellent writing and editing skills.
 Ability to handle multiple tasks with varying deadlines.
 Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with diverse groups of people (i.e., N/NE community, donors,
volunteers, committee members and staff).
 Must be a team player and have a professional attitude.
 Must have strong word processing and database management skills. Computer graphic design skills a plus.
 Ability to use personal initiative and cooperation in performing job duties.
 Must be a self-starter.
 Salary Range: $2,887 – $4,186 per month.

EVENTS COORDINATOR (full-time position)


The Events Coordinator performs a variety of duties related to fund raising and community and friend raising events. This position
reports to the Associate Director of Development.

 Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field required.


 Minimum two (2) years marketing, public relations and/or special event planning experience.
 Must have excellent interpersonal skills to include group, one-on-one and public speaking.
 Must have excellent writing and editing skills.
 Ability to handle multiple tasks with varying deadlines.
 Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with diverse groups of people (i.e., N/NE community, donors,
volunteers, committee members and staff).
 Must be a team player and have a professional attitude.
 Must have strong word processing and database management skills. Computer graphic design skills a plus.

 Salary Range: $2,661 – $3,858 per month.
YOUTH SERVICE IN SCHOOL COORDINATOR (3 full-time positions)
The In School Service Coordinator implements SEI’s school-based program for 25-50 students at a specific school site. SEI has
programming at three levels -- elementary, middle school and high school. This is a full time position that reports to the Level
Supervisor.

 A degree in Education, Psychology or a related field is required. A minimum of two (2) years of college level study plus (2) years
of experience directly working with youth in an educational environment may be substituted for education requirement.
 Ability to successfully provide case management to 25-50 youth.
 Ability to be a positive role model for young people.
 Ability to successfully work with students with varying educational, social and economic backgrounds.
 Self-motivated, with good organizational skills.
 Must have excellent writing skills and basic computer knowledge.
 Willingness to work flexible hours; including some evenings and week-ends.
 Must have a valid driver’s license and must be insurable under SEI’s auto insurance.
 Salary Range: $2,500- $3,625 per month

PARENT COORDINATOR (full-time position)


The Parent Coordinator works with the parents of students involved in the School Age Policy Framework. This position works as a
liaison between parents, students, the school, and other social service agencies. The goal is to empower parents as they become involved
in their children's education and the revitalization of the school.

 A Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Public Administration, Social Services or related field.


 A minimum of three years’ of experience directly related to the job duties may be substituted for educational requirement.
 Experience working in an educational setting or social service environment.
 Must have excellent leadership skills.
 Ability to successfully motivate others.
 Ability to successfully interact with diverse populations and levels of people.
 Must have excellent interpersonal skills to include presentation, one-on-one and public speaking.
 Must be self-motivated, with good organizational skills.
 Must have excellent writing skills.
 Must have strong word processing and basic computer skills.
 Must be a team player with a professional attitude.
 Must have reliable transportation.
 Salary Range: $2,887 - $4,186 per month.

CONTRACTS & COMPLIANCE MANAGER (full-time position)


The Contracts & Compliance Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of contract and compliance
management systems for Self Enhancement, Inc. This is a full time position that reports to the VP of Finance and Administration.

 Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or related field preferred.


 Progressive experience directly related to the job duties may be substituted for education.
 At least 3 years in contract compliance or related field.
 Extensive experience in interpreting federal, state and local statues and requirements as they pertain to contracts and grants.
 Experience working with social services programs, particularly those targeting minority at-risk youth.
 Must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
 Must have strong collaboration skills with the ability to objectively embrace varying perspectives.
 Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects.
 Must be a self starter with a high level of initiative as well as a team spirit.
 Ability to effectively build and maintain working relationships with a wide variety of people including SEI staff and federal, state
and local agency representatives.
 Must have high level computer skills.
 Salary Range: $4001 – $5801 per month.
OFFICE MANAGER (full-time position)
The Office Manager performs a wide variety of administrative duties and task for the Administration Office and for the agency as
appropriate. The Office Manager reports to the Director of Human Resources.

 At least 3 years of office management skills or related experience.


 College level courses in a related field desired.
 Must have demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise others.
 Must have the ability to effectively organize work flow of self and others.
 Must have excellent communication skills including written and verbal.
 Proven effective interpersonal communication skills including the ability to effectively interface with all levels and cultures of
people.
 Must have strong customer service skills with the ability to teach others the fundamentals of effective customer service.
 Must have high level word processing skills.
 Must have the willingness to handle multiple tasks and projects with the ability to be flexible and to re-prioritize as necessary.
 Salary Range: $3,133 – $4,542 per month.
