Executive Summary
Datamatrix has developed an integrated approach to education and training. In doing so we have enabled
access to knowledge to those previously denied such opportunities, as well as giving formal recognition of
the skills that were obtained outside of formal education structures. Our national Quality Management
System, developed according to SAQA recommendations, will ensure that Datamatrix meets its objective
of enhancing the quality of education and training.
By following an outcomes-based approach, in compliance with legal requirements of the HWSETA, and in
establishing a national learner’s database, Datamatrix will be one of the mechanisms to enable
transformation and development of people within the health and welfare industry. In achieving this we will

Customer Profile

Our customer base is drawn from most sectors of the South African economy, as the

requirements for education as set out under the OHSACT (85 OF 1993) encompasses all but

the smallest business in the country. We use only the best and most qualified Trainers

available in this industry, with some trainers fluent in Black Languages. Our instructors are

drawn from all population groups and are representative of the South African demographics.

Naturally this is in the interest of all our students.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• All pricing excludes VAT.

• Travelling fee of R3.20 per Kilometre from Datamatrix office (Brakpan).
• Bookings need to be confirmed by submitting an official order to
DATAMATRIX.
• Confirmation in writing by an authorised person.
• In the event of non attendance or cancellation, FULL FEES will be charged
unless 2 working days notice is given, unless prior arrangements have been
made.
• Students will not be allowed to complete the final day examination if fees have
not been received, unless prior arrangements have been made.
• Fees payable on commencement of course unless other arrangements have
been made.
• Certificates can be collected/delivered within two weeks after successful
completion of the course.
• Copy of students ID required on attendance of course for certification
purposes.
• Training venue available – pricing will be provided on request.
• Additional students exceeding maximum students per class – R355.00 per day
for additional student or per arranged price (excluding lifting equipment).
