Several LTE-Advanced systems support Category 6
devices enabling a theoretical peak downlink speed
above 150 Mbps up to 300 Mbps where networks
use up to 40 MHz of paired spectrum. 108 devices

VoLTE devices
Initially operators are deploying VoLTE enabling an
HD voice experience for their LTE users. VoLTE
requires an LTE core and radio network with user
terminal support for SIP-based voice services, i.e.
IP based communication services over an IMS core
network. 219 VoLTE-capable devices (including
carrier and frequency variants) including 198
smartphones have been announced by leading
vendors including Apple, Asus, Fujitsu, HTC,
Huawei, LG, Motorola, Pantech, Samsung, Sharp,
and Sony Mobile.
