DIGITAL WEIGHT INDICATOR

Users guide
The Digital Weight Indicator is designed for general weighing, counting and check weighing applications.
The main features of the indicators are:
- Full front panel setup and calibration
- Easy to read large LED display
- Parts counting
- Check weighing
- RS232 data Interface
- Supplies enough current for up to 4-350 ohm Load Cells
- Powered by AC/DC Adaptor or Rechargeable Battery
GENERAL
Unpack the Indicator and keep carton for storing and/or future transportation. In the carton you should
find:Indicator with mounting bracket and this instruction manual. Connection of loadcell :

POWER OPTIONS
AC/DC Adapter 220V 50HZ AC / 9V DC 800mA. LED in the front panel is ON when powered by
Adapter.
Rechargeable battery 6V 4Ah: Charging cycle is about 8 hours with the indicator turned off, providing
about 20 hours of service. LED is RED when battery is being charged and turns GREEN when charge is
completed. Display will flash when the battery is low.
When the black switch on the back cover of the indicator is at the O state, the power is off.
When I state, the indicator is powered by AC/DC Adapter 220V 50HZ AC / 9V DC 800mA.
When II state, the indicator is powered by battery.

SETUP MENU CHART


Four front panel keys F, MODE, T and 0 are navigation keys in the setup menu. MODE key is used to
enter the menu and to save the selection. Turn the indicator ON While pressing the 0 Key. The indicator
will display the first menu F1 KEY. And then release the 0 key. To quit the setup press T key.

CALIBRATION PROCEDURE
Enter P8 CAL of the F4 CAL menu
1.

noLoad appears in the display, unload the scale and press F key when STABLE LED is on.

2.

Load appears in the display, load the scale with the calibration weight and press F key when
STABLE LED is on.

3.

When the display shows 000000,input the calibration weight. Press the F key.

4.

The indicator returns to weighing mode.

COUNTING OPERATION
F1 KEY should be set to be value 1 or 2
Testing step:
1.

Place a container on the scale and zero the indicator.

2.

Press MODE key and display will show number of samples P 10.

3.

Use T key to change number of samples.

4.

Place the required number of samples into the container and press F key.

5.

Wait till the display is stable and it will show number of pieces.

Counting step:
1.

Place the samples on the scale and it will show the number.

2.

Press F key circularly, it will show the total weight, unit weight and number of the samples.

3.

Press MODE key to shift between weighing mode and counting mode.

CHECKWEIGHING OPERATIO
1. Enter the F3 CHK.
2. Select Beep 1,Beep 2 or Beep 3 and then it display 000000.
3. Use T and 0 Key to set the parameter HI, press F key to confirm.
4. Set the parameter LO as step 3.
5. If LO or/and HI values have been set to others, not zero, the checkweighing is ON.
6. LED Display segments status: HI & LO segments ON - load within the target range
HI

ON - load accedes the higher target

LO

ON - load below the lower target

7. To have just one target LO or HI, the other value has to be 0.

8. If both HI and LO values are set to be 0 , the checkweighing is OFF.

ACCUMULATION OPERATION

F1 KEY should be set to be value 2 and the indicator is not connected with an available printer.
1. When the weight is stable, press F key. The display shows the No. and the value of weight is stored in
the memory.
2. Empty the scale by removing the weights. Load the next weight and press F key to store the weight.
3. The No. and total weight could be viewed by pressing the F key when the weight on scale is zero.
4.

The No. and total weight could be deleted by pressing the 0 key when viewing the No. and total

weight.

PRINT OPERATION
1.

The wires of printer should be connected to the 3 rd and 5th connector of the male socket sent as

accessory.
2. Make sure F1 KEY is set to be value 2 .
3. When the weight is stable, press the F key to print.
