BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF LABORATORY ROOMS

(Properly-lighted and well-ventilated)

Chemistry Laboratory
Chemistry laboratory is located at room 103, 1st floor of Science Building. It
has 2 doors with 5 windows. Beside the 2 nd door is a fire alarm and a fire hose.
Inside the laboratory are 2 panels of white boards with 2 electric outlets below it.
Electric fans are provided for more ventilation. The teachers demonstration table
has overhead projector, sink and faucet. There are 3 twin lab tables at the center
and single lab tables at the side of the room. Each with 2 faucets 4 gas source
and outlets at the back is a glass cubicle where laboratory apparatus and
chemicals are displayed.
The instructor, together with his/her students, work hand in hand in
maintaining the cleanliness of this laboratory.
Biology Corner
Biology corner is located at room 204, 2 nd floor of College Building. The
said building was designed long years ago with no provision for two doors. Since
it is an old-designed building, it has 1 door only. Despite this concern, the rooms
are well-ventilated due to its 8 windows. Wall fans are provided in both sides for
more ventilation, thus, making students comfortable. Inside the corner are 2
panels of white boards with 2 electric outlets beside it. The teachers
demonstration table is provided at the center. At the left part of the room, there
are two cabinets where apparatuses/equipment is placed. Different specimens,
displays, and manuals can be found at the back of the Biology Room.
To properly maintain it, the Associate Dean assigned one (1) instructor to
perform this task. Through the help of the student-cleaners, it is assured that the
room is well-maintained and organized.
Computer Laboratory
Computer laboratory is divided into two categories, the first one is the old
computer laboratory located at Science building room 102 focusing its purpose
for basic computer learning experiences since the entire computer units located
at this workroom only offers fundamental operations of the said innovative
equipment. The other is located at the 2nd floor of the new administration building;
it differs from the other workroom since the computer units being operate here
offers multifaceted learning experiences.

Internet, AutoCAD and Cisco Laboratory

It is located in the second floor of the New Administration Building,
connecting to the library. The room is properly lighted, air conditioned and has
two doors for entrance and for exit. There are 50 units Pentium R Dual Core,
4units Pentium 4, 9units Pentium 4 with white desktop unit, 5Pentium G2020,
donated by PEA, 5units AMD Sempron 3000+, 55pcs white mono-block chair, 4
maroon mono-block chairs, 4 cream mono-block chairs and 66 computer tables.
Most of the hands-on activities of the students happen here. Each faculty
members are given their schedule on using this laboratory room for students
hands-on activities. It also serves as venue for students for updating their selves
in the current events through the use of internet. They also made use of this for
their researches, projects and other subject related activities. Faculty members
also have the privilege of using the internet laboratory. It is also used for
computer literacy program of other departments.
The Internet laboratory has one technician/custodian under Permanent
status to regularly check, repair and maintain the said laboratory.
University Gymnasium
It is situated at the ground floor beside CTE and CAS building. This is an
open gymnasium where campus activities and assemblies are held. Physical
Education and practicum activities are held here. To maintain its cleanliness, the
Director for Administration and Financial Services assigned two-maintenance
staffs.
Electronics and Electricity Rooms
It is situated in the 1st floor of CIT building, near the campus quadrangle.
Lecture hours are conducted in the colleges building and with proper scheduling
with CIT, the laboratory classes of the students were conducted here. It is welllighted and ventilated. Both rooms have long tables where students can perform
their tasks.
Sewing Room
For demonstration purposes only, this room has one (1) sewing machine
and one (1) edging machine. These were used in making the students clearly
understand its parts and its functions. The room is well-ventilated due to its
windows and electric fans provided.
Food Laboratory
The college is using two laboratories. The first laboratory was the Food
Technology Room located near the New Administration Building. Another building
was located in newly constructed CABEIHM building. It has complete amenities
that allow students to perform their task easily.

Cosmetology Room
The room was located at the CIT building and properly maintained by the
assigned instructor. It is well ventilated due to the windows and fans available It
has adequate working tables for students use. The room is equipped with
materials/facilities that students use during their laboratory exercises.
Automotive Shop
This was located at the back of the CIT building. It has wide floor area that
allows students to move freely. It has different equipment for students use. Its
location is strategic for it allows air to pass through its windows which made it
ventilated.
Civil Technology Room
The room is divided into three: Woodworking Room, Plumbing and
Masonry. It has electric fans for more ventilation. The room is equipped with
facilities needed for laboratory exercises. The equipment and furniture are
properly arranged that allow free flow movement of the students without
interference from others.
