The coming elections in 2016 are crucial for the future of every American citizen from our
City, to Washington DC. We must ensure that we elect responsible public officials who CARE
about the security of our nation. Just talking about protecting our borders is not enough,
when we have so many acts of violence with Americans killing Americans, as the recent cases
in Colorado and other regions. What are we going to do, keep blaming Mexico, Syria, etc?
We have more than enough violence right here at home.
What are we going to do, build a wall around Colorado, or any other state where cases of
multiple murders occur? Of course not that is not going to stop the senseless killing, so
we need to stop pointing fingers and stop the irresponsible hatred-filled political lunacy,
such as that being spewed by Donald Trump and others. America CAN and MUST elect
responsible leaders.. not irresponsible, racist clowns.
We can make a difference, through our VOTE!!! IT CAN HAPPEN if the so-called sleeping
giant finally awakens. IT CAN HAPPEN if every eligible citizen REGISTERS and then
ensure that s/he V O T E S. Too many citizens REGISTER but then do not bother to vote.
We must take advantage of EARLY VOTING because too many things can happen between
the opening of EARLY VOTING and the actual election date, such as - illness, bad weather,
out-of-town trips, etc.
Get every relative in your own home every neighbor to VOTE. Too many of our military
personnel have sacrificed their lives, to protect our right to vote.. the least emery American
citizen can do, is to ensure that they did not die in vain. We can no longer let somebody else
do it.

Our Tejano Friends,

The months of November and December are turing out to be busy months for us!
A couple of weeks ago in our 'Nachos con Tejanos' event our organization's

leadership, the Bexar County Tejano and Young Tejano Democrats, voted to support
and fully endorse two public servants that are making a difference in the community.
Our first endorsement announcement of the evening was for Judge Ron Rangel. Judge
Rangel is a proven and dedicated public servant that is an asset for our community
and the Bexar County Courthouse. We fully endorse him on his re-election for the
379th Criminal District Court.

Our leadership also voted to fully support and endorsed Mr. Tomas Uresti, running to
represent the hardworking families of HD118. We know he will be a fighter in the
Texas Legislature for our community.

Lastly, we touched upon on our statewide efforts with the South-West Coalition of
Tejano Democrats. This upcoming election cycle will be crucial and we need to send
clear a message that 'Aqui Estamos y No Nos Vamos', that is why we are
working tirelessly in our GET OUT THE HISPANIC VOTE effort. The coalition will
be having an important meeting in Corpus Christi, Texas for any Tejano that wants to
be proactive and get involved!

We want to invite a cordial invitation to you to please join us for an upcoming and
special fundraising event for Mr. Javier Salazar for Bexar County Sheriff! We hope
you can join us! We will also be present to collect any toy donation for our 3rd
Annual Toy Drive.

We look forward to seeing you and hearing from you soon! We always enjoy
engaging with you, if you have any questions, suggestions or concerns please email
