ADMISSION IN ONE YEAR PRANI SAMPAD BIKASH PRASHIKSHAN

CERTIFICATE COURSE
Applications are invited for admission in one year Prani Sampad Bikash
Prashikshan Certificate Course for 2009-10 from eligible male and female Indian citizens ,
who are permanent residents of West Bengal with a sound health and competent enough to
manage animals. In this Course , training will be provided for activities regarding animal
husbandry, especially for artificial insemination, green fodder cultivation, animal
management, vaccination and primary health care services, formation of Milk Union etc.
RULES & REGULATIONS
Eligibility:
Passed in Madhyamik Pariksha (conducted by the West Bengal Board of
Secondary Education) or its equivalent, with minimum 50% marks (for SC/ST Candidate
45%). Selection will be made on the basis of percentage of total marks obtained by the
candidates according to merit and also will be on district wise basis of the candidates of
respective district against the specific number of district wise seats. Self certified copy of
residential certificate for permanent address from Gram Panchayat Pradhan,
Sabhapati Panchayat Samity, Member Zilla Parishad, Local MLA/MP,
Commissioner/Chairman of Municipality, Councilor/Chairman of Borough
Committee of Municipal Corporation should be furnished along with the application
for consideration of the respective district.
Age: Not more than 30 years for General/OBC, 33 years for SC/ST Candidates as on 1 st
September, 2009 .
Total seats : 60(Sixty). Number of sets may be increased in future. District wise number
of seats specified. According to rules, seats for SC/ST/OBC & PH candidates will be
reserved.
Venue of Counseling, Admission & Training :
Training Institute, ARD,
Midnapore,Nazarganj, Paschim Medinipur. Every selected candidate will have to pay the
fees mentioned below at the time of admission and all the fees of one year should be paid at
the time of admission. (1) Admission Fees: Rs. 250/- (Rs. 125/- for SC/ST/OBC ) ; (2)
Library Fees: Rs. 10/- monthly (3) Hostel Seat Rent :Rs. 30/- monthly. (4) Caution Money:
Rs. 200/- for girls students Rs. 100/- (refundable) (5) ID Card Fees: Rs. 5/(6)
Examination Fees : Rs. 50/-. There is no provision of girls hostel.

N.B In support of Sl.No:4,6,7,8,9 self certified copies of Certificate/Mark Sheets must be

produced with the application. No other certificate will be entertained in support of Sl.No:
8 & 9 except the certificate issued from concerned Govt. authority. Application must be
reached on or before 24th Nov.2009 duly filled up and addressed to The Director , Animal
Husbandry & Veterinary Services, West Bengal, New Secretariat Buildings, A
Block, 3rd Floor, 1, K.S.Roy Road, Kolkata 700 001. Proforma of the application is also
available from the website www.darahwb.org The envelope containing application must be
superscribed Application for admission in one year Prani Sampad Bikash Prashikshan
Certificate Course ( 2009-10). There will be no guarantee of Govt. service for the
candidates after satisfactory completion of the Course. List of names of the eligible
candidates for counseling & admission will be published possibly on 5th Jan, 2010 at
12.00 hours in the above mentioned office of the Director, in the offices of the Deputy
Director,ARD & Parishad Officers of each district and also in the Training Institute, ARD ,
Midnapore, Nazarganj, Paschim Medinpur. The possible date of counseling and admission
in this course is 11th Jan,2010 at 12.00 hours The vacant seat , if arises, due to the
attendance of a particular student is less than 80% in first 21 Course days will be
considered as vacant and that will be subsequently filled up from the published Merit
Lists on second counseling. The candidates have to present at their own effort on the date
of counseling and admission at prescribed time along with original Mark Sheet and
Certificates with them.
