Impact in Slovakia

A Long overdue "Hello" to all! Yes, I am still here. No, I have not
drowned in dirty diapers!
I can't believe how long it's been since I sent out an Outtakes, I'm very
sorry for not keeping you better updated. As you can imagine I have
been pretty busy since Sofie came home but we are settling in nicely.
Thank you all for your prayers, they have made a huge difference.
Another thing that is overdue is the construction! Argh! There have
been several delays with the paperwork and now we are waiting on
more papers before we can start the construction. I am trying to stay
positive despite the delay; it has given me more time to settle in with
Sofie and more time to finish raising the funds (I have 50% of what is
needed so far). Please pray with me that the paperwork will go through
and it can be done before the snows set in (usually end of Jan/Feb here).
AND MORE GUESTS!
I have started taking reservations again (despite the construction
uncertainty) and have several over the next couple months (and some
for next year already!). In December we will be hosting a mini-retreat
for a TWR (Trans World Radio) team. Since the construction is not
done Sofie and I will be staying the night at a friend's house so we can
free up another bedroom for the 8 adults coming! (I will still be here
during the day to help with cooking and hosting etc.) I am thankful that
Alison is here to help me with the retreat, it will be a busy couple of
days.
Please pray for us as we prepare for and host this team.
Love, Amber

Trivia Answer: #3. He became paralyzed

Westbourne Baptist Church

Luke 2:12-14 (ESV)
And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped
in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger. And suddenly
there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host
praising God and saying,
Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!

What happened to Zacharias after his encounter with an angel?

1. He became blind
3. He became paralyzed
2. He became mute
4. He became leprous
