TRADUCCION A INGLES
INTRODUCTION
Our body is able to produce their own chemicals and uses it to control certain
functions, the main system that coordinates these chemicals is called the
endocrine system. Very rarely we think about the endocrine system, however it
influences almost all cells, organs and body functions. The endocrine system is
instrumental in regulating mood, growth and development, the operation of the
various tissues and metabolism, as well as sexual function and reproductive
processes. Generally the endocrine system handles body processes that happen
slowly, such as cell growth. Faster processes like breathing and body movement
are controlled by the nervous system. But even though the nervous and endocrine
systems are different, often working together to help the body function properly.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, the endocrine system is very important to perform all the functions of
our body. If any of the parts that make up this system should fail great harm to the
human body it would cause. It is therefore very important to take care of our body
and find the best ways to get it working properly. Some advice would be: do not
drink alcohol, no drugs, exercise, avoid exposure to loud noises, read a lot.
OBJECTIVE
GENERAL Set different types of hormones, changes and functions that have
endocrine glands throughout the life of the human OBJECTIVES
SPECIFIC 1. State the most important hormones secreted by the endocrine
system.
2. Identify the differences between the types of endocrine glands.
3. Understand the relationship between gland and body function.
