Aborting modern Asuras : The monster of disasters

A climate plays important role in molding and shaping the features and habits
of living things. It draws the outline of food, clothing and shelter of the people in that region.
Climate plays an important role in sustainability of living things of that region. The rate at which
energy is received from the sun and the rate at which it is lost to space determine the equilibrium
temperature and climate of Earth.
The term climatic change describes about change in weather patterns for a
extended period of time or time variation in the time variation of weather around longer term
average conditions. The main accuse behind this changes are caused by various natural events
like change in solar radiation received by Earth, tectonic movements of plates and eruptions of
volcanoes .In addition to this human activities are also draws the causes of climatic change that
is happening now -a-days.
India is the vast country with diverse climate which has drawn diversity in the
outline the diversity in its agriculture. It is one of the backbones of Indian economy. In the
absence of modern technology and dependence on rain the agriculture has suffered a lot of
drawback in India. The climatic change has brought in drought conditions that made cultivation a
challenge for peasants. It is said that productivity of most crops will decrease only marginally by
2020, but the decline will touch 10-40 percent by 2100. Sometimes the change brings in the
wave of heavy rain the another challenge to farmers, which destroys the crops. The Pune-based
Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology analysed data of more than 1,800 weather stations in
central India from 1951 to 2000. It did not find any significant change in the seasonal mean
rainfall in the region, but found that the number of extreme events rainfall exceeding 150 mm
per day has doubled since the early 1950s. Heavy rainfall, exceeding 100mm per day, shows
a 10% increase per decade. It brings downfall in crops cultivation but also in livestock. Some
minimal amount of research has said that rising temperature and heat will directly impact
livestock, leading to animal stress and reduced milk yield a loss of 1.5 million tonnes of milk
by 2020. This climatic change has brought in many hardships to peasants which made them to
drown in sea of debt and took their life to the end of the line. . In short the intro industrial
revolution and evolution in India has posed a threat to green and white revolution of India.
The change in climate not poses the livelihood of farmers and their crops but also
harms the whole ecosystem. From the melting glaciers from great Himalayas, its sensitive
tectonic plates and rising of sea levels from the roaring oceans may cause catastrophic disasters.
Climate plays an important role in health. Population of mosquito has increased a lot in India.
The increase in mosquitos in directly proportional to the vector borne disease. It also increases
opens door to other disease. Those of low socio-economic status will likely to be the most
affected by the health impacts of climate change, as they have the least adaptive capacity. The
unbalance in climate causes unbalance in every aspects of cycle and natural chains. 1 in 6 species
are in danger of extinction due to climatic change. The disappearing of mangroves that has

caused threat to carnivorous animals at that place, the vanishing beauty like Shanghai deers ,the
fire corals in the deep blue sea and eagles on the delirious blue sky are all in the risk of
extinction. These may cause a lot of effects on our cultural changes and food security. These are
only the beginning of the line which seems to have very life threatening. If these conditions
persist it may lead to extinction of human race which may be the end of the line. It is our
understanding and awareness which might reduce the risk
As we say prevention
is better than cure we have to prevent the jeopardy from occurring.
The green houses gases emission, the chemical fertilizers, usage of fossil fuels etc.
comes into the list when it comes to the topic of climatic change due to mankind . But the thing
is how far we can practically use it and reduce it is the need of the day. India as a developing
country may be difficult to handle it but even it can be reduced by smaller phase. Reducing usage
of fossil fuels and saying yes to green appliances is the first step in which we can reduce global
warming. Further reuse, reduce and recycle policy also plays an important role. Usage of green
fuel like biogas . As India is a tropical country usage of solar energy is possible. Other sources
like geothermal energy can also be put into use. Putting an end to poaching also helps . In short
usage of natural resource in an innovative way and spreading awareness would reduce global
warming . Awareness is very important to be spread because most of the population in in India is
rural. Carpools are also useful in reducing global warming.
It is duty of every citizen of India to save our fragile environment. Nature has
created human beings with six sense so that we can use to protect our nature. Instead of using it
in a constructive mode we use it in a destructive mode. It is in our hands to lead the fate of our
earth to creation or destruction. Let us join hands destroy the Asuras that may cause destruction
before it ends us.
