Title: Brawl Among Students

Introduction:
Brawl is fight that conducted in groups. Generally happens to students in both high
school and college students. They are the future generation that should give a good example
that reflects them as the educated person. Because of these irregularities, this article will
explain briefly what is the cause of the brawl, the impact, as well as measures to overcome
them.
Body pharagraphs:
Brawl often caused by little misunderstanding between two people. The problem that
should be solved quickly amicably between them. But due to the lack of mature thinking, the
problem becomes big and convoluted. Involves a lot of people who should not be involved.
That is, their high sense of togetherness, collective behaviour in the form of a mass. They are
strongly influenced by emotions and feelings. It is easy to believe that less critical and tends
to drift. This factor is the psychological factor that in theory Neo Lombroso called
psychopathological (Shutherland, 1969: 151).
While, brawl resulted in damage to public facilities such as the breakup of the glass
classroom if they occur within the school or college. In addition, students involved at least
suspension or drop out. The other disadvantage is the safety of their lives are threatened. As
written by Nuri Aprilia and Herdina Indrijati (2014, page 2) derived from the Indonesian
Child Protection Commission (KPAI) that in year 2012, 17 students died as a result of brawl
in Jakarta. This amount was in claims increased from the previous year, 2011, which killed
over 12 people. And in 2013 increased by as many as 20 deaths.
As for how to resolve it should start from the students' own personal nature. It means
he should be able to control himself. Students who are mostly teenagers where the soul wants
to express themselves tend to be unbearable and often leads to negative due to immature
thinking. As in Julianti (2013, page 11) where the brawl due to conflicts within the students.
Therefore, family and school environment is expected to overcome this. In other words, the
current environment creates a conducive conditions. A condition where the child can quickly
think mature so they can solve their own problems and not easily affected by negative things.
Conclusion:
From the explanation above, it can be concluded that the brawl that occurred among
students often caused by trivial problems and it has a major impact due to lack of maturation
of their thinking. They tend to solve problems with violence. Therefore, families and schools
environment is indispensable in shaping the personality of the students.
