Process of Socialization

Process of Socialization means new employees can adjust themselves with


organization and working location as well. When a worker join in a fresh employed
situation he/she can fine everything is new like the procedure of work, rules and
regulation of organization is different from another organization. So he/she has to
adjust himself/herself with new environment. Thats why socialization is
important. Now we can conclude that socialization is an adaptation process. It
helps new employees to adjust themselves with organization and activities related
to organization. In short we can say socialization is a process of adaptation that
takes place as individuals attempt to learn the values and norms of work roles.
Socialization is a continuous process. It continues from selection of human
resource to the organization and accomplishment of activities. There are three
stages of socialization.

1. Pre arrival stage: Before joining the organization every appointed person
has his own organization values, attitude behavior and expectation which
makes the now employee interests to do at his activities. For example,
managerial and highly experiences appoints persons get themselves

accounted about socialization from training in different educational


institutions to reasonable extent. In selection process and interview season
profitable employee are given clear and complete ideas about the
organization clearly. So the new employees can adjust themselves with
organization.
Ex- I wanted a job to the Akij Group of Company. I aimed to involve with
this company.Because, I thought that Akij Group of Company can fulfill my
dream. I thought that Akij Group of Company offers delicious
salary,holidays and other facilities. There was a healthy environment too.
And for this job, I interviewed many times in the Group. But, unfortunately I
have gotten a job in the Pran Group of Company.
2. The Encounter stage: In this stage new employee can understand the real
situation. New employees are our new organization with their values, ideas,
education, experience and expectation. Many a times they find some
dissimilarly which makes them fro states. As a result both employees and
organization suffer. Socialization is a process which ramous this type of
barrier and encourage the new employees to perform better. Stage are
important is socialization process. Socialization helps the new employees to
adjust themselves with organization. If the new employees have clear idea
about the organization they can give their effort to make the performance
better. As result both employees and organization feel happy.
Ex- After get the job, firstly I was very disappointed. But after few months
working here, I have realized that there is not too much differences between
the two groups of company. I have gotten almost things that I desired. I
manage everything very carefully and the environment is preety good.
3. Metamorphosis stage: Due to influence of socialization a change occur in
the mind of new employees. If they face any problem they can solve it on
the discussion with the all employees. As a result metamorphosis occurs.
Ex- Sometimes, I faces many problems in this group. As I have made a good
relationship with other employees so they help me very much. I discusses
my problems and they discusses their problems with me. Now, I am satisfied
with my job.
