General notes on installation

In order to guarantee best possible bond between the
xing anchor and the concrete, make sure that the surface
of the anchor is free from dirt, oil, etc.
The concrete has to be poured carefully; please avoid direct
contact between the compacting device and the xing anchor. Additional securing of the anchors by wire-tying is
recommended.
The xing anchors may be embedded ush or recessed in
the concrete. It is strongly recommended to use washers to
shim if anchors are recessed.
and further protected against ingress of water, dirt or oil

until required for use i.e. for xing components. Ensure the
inside of the socket remains dry after nal assembly.
The xing component (bolt with standard metric thread)
has to be selected according to the static engineers specications. Minimum / maximum screw-in length for bolts and
maximum installation torque moment (Tinst) can be found
on pages 6 - 7.
The xing anchor must not be subjected to full load capacity
until the concrete has reached its nal strength.
Shortly after striking the formwork the nailing plates should

be removed. The inside of the threaded socket must be dry
Welding
All DEMU-products shown in our Technical Product Information DEMU FIX are weldable. However, any welding, including tack welding, to DEMU-products can negatively inuence their mechanical properties. Welding can aect the
performance of the product.
If welding in the application is unavoidable, take the following into account:
a possible change in performance; a possible reduction in
load capacity
remove any coating layer before welding, and ensure welding fumes are safely extracted during welding
use mandatory protective equipment
the customer is responsible for making sure that applicable welding regulations are respected

The xture is attached to the cast-in

anchor with a standard metric thread
fastening bolt and washer or a threaded rod, a washer and a nut.
The xing components are not included with the DEMU Fixing systems
and have to be ordered separately.
The xing component (bolt) has to be
selected according to the static
engineers specications.
For all xing anchors there is a minimum and a maximum screw-in

length. Minimum values can be found
in the table below. The corresponding
maximum values for each type can be
found in the tables next page. To nd
the required bolt length, proceed as
described below.

Allgemeine Einbauhinweise
Damit ein sauberer Verbund zwischen Hlsenanker und
Beton gewhrleistet werden kann, ist sicherzustellen, dass
der Anker nicht mit Fremdkrpern, l, etc. verschmutzt ist.
Der Beton sollte sorgsam eingebracht werden, der direkte
Kontakt zwischen Rttler und Anker ist zu vermeiden. Zustzliches Anrdeln der Anker an die Bewehrung ist zu
empfehlen.
Hlsenanker knnen oberchenbndig oder vertieft eingebaut werden. Im Fall von zurckversetzt eingebauten Ankern sind bei Befestigung des Anbauteils Unterlegscheiben
zur Unterftterung zu verwenden.
Unmittelbar nach dem Ausschalen sollten die Nagelteller
herausgedreht werden. Das Innere der Gewindehlse hat
dann bis zur Verwendung, d. h. bis zur Befestigung des An-
bauteils, gegen Eindringen von Wasser, Verunreinigungen

oder l geschtzt zu werden und trocken zu sein. Auch
nach der Endmontage ist sicherzustellen, dass kein Wasser
in die Gewindehlse eindringt.
Zur Befestigung des Anbauteils sind die in den Konstruktionsunterlagen des verantwortlichen Planers vorgeschriebenen Schrauben zu verwenden.
Die minimalen / maximalen Einschraubtiefen der Befestigungsschrauben in die Gewindehlsen sowie die maximalen
Installationsdrehmomente (Tinst) sind gem den Tabellen
auf den Seiten 12 - 13 einzuhalten.
Die Belastung des Hlsenankers darf erst nach Erreichen
der vorgesehenen Betonfestigkeit erfolgen.
Schweibarkeit
Alle im Katalog DEMU FIX aufgefhrten DEMU-Produkte
(aus Stahl) sind grundstzlich schweibar. Allerdings kann
jede Form von Schweien, einschlielich Heftschweien,
die mechanischen Eigenschaften der DEMU-Produkte beeintrchtigen.
Sollte sich in speziellen Anwendungsfllen Schweien nicht
vermeiden lassen, so ist folgendes unbedingt zu beachten:
Eingeschrnkte Funktionsfhigkeit sowie verminderte
Tragfhigkeit knnen eintreten.
Evtl. vorhandene Beschichtungen sind vor dem Schweien zu entfernen; durch den Schweivorgang auftretende Dmpfe sind mit geeignetem Gert abzusaugen.
Es ist die vorgeschriebene Schutzausrstung zu tragen.
Der Kunde ist verantwortlich fr die Einhaltung der
geltenden Vorschriften bzgl. des Schweivorgangs.

Ermittlung der erforderlichen Schraubenlnge

Allgemeines
Einschraublnge
Das Einbauteil wird mit einer Befestigungsschraube mit metrischem Regelgewinde und Unterlegscheibe bzw.
mit Gewindestange, Unterlegscheibe
und Kontermutter im einbetonierten
Hlsenanker befestigt. Die genannten
Befestigungskomponenten sind nicht
im Lieferumfang enthalten und mssen separat bestellt bzw. vorgehalten
werden. Es sind Schrauben gem
den Vorgaben des verantwortlichen
Planers zu verwenden.
Bei der Verwendung der Hlsenanker

sind die minimalen und maximalen
Einschraublngen zu beachten. Die
Mindesteinschraublngen sind in der
Tabelle unten zusammengefasst. Die
entsprechenden maximalen Werte
sind den Tabellen auf der folgenden
Seite zu entnehmen. Die Ermittlung
der erforderlichen Schraubenlngen
ist im folgenden Abschnitt beschrieben.

Informations gnrales pour lutilisation

An de garantir la meilleure adhrence possible entre la
douille de xation et le bton, assurez vous que la surface
de la douille soit propre et exempte de poussire ou
dhuile.
Le bton doit tre coul avec prcaution, viter le contact
direct entre les douilles de xation et les outils de compactage. Nous recommandons une scurit supplmentaire en
liaisonnant solidement les douilles au corage.
La douille de xation peut tre facilement noye dans le
bton. Nous recommandons fortement lutilisation de platines de xations ou lun des accessoires de la page 15.
Les xations des douilles doivent tre retires rapidement
aprs le dcorage.
Le letage intrieur de la douille doit tre sch et nouveau protg avec un bouchon contre les agressions possibles telles que leau, la poussire et lhuile. Aussi aprs
lassemblage nal il faut assurer que lintrieur de la douille
reste sec.
Le boulon ou la vis (pas mtrique standard) pour la xation
de llment doit tre choisi en fonction des calculs et des
spcications du bureau dingnierie. Les profondeurs minimales / maximales de vissage pour les boulons et le couple
de serrage (Tinst) gurent en pages 18-19.
La douille de xation ne doit pas tre soumise sa capacit
de charge complte avant que le bton nait atteint sa rsistance nale.
Soudure
Tous les produits DEMU dans notre catalogue technique
Douilles de xation DEMU peuvent tre souds par
points. Toutefois, toute soudure, notamment les soudures de
positionnement, peuvent inuencer ngativement les proprits mcaniques des douilles. Souder peut aecter les
performances dun produit.
Si pour votre utilisation il est impossible dviter toute
soudure, il faut tenir compte des lments suivants :
une possible modication des performances et une
possible rduction des capacits de charge
enlever le revtement de protection (galva...) avant de
commencer souder et assurez vous que les fumes de

Profondeur de vissage de la vis
Les lments de xation sont liaisonns la douille de xation par lintermdiaire dune vis letage mtrique
standard et de rondelles ou dune tige
let, dune rondelle et dun crou.
Les lments de xation ne font pas
partis du systme de xation DEMU
et doivent tre commands sparment. Llment de xation (la vis)
doit tre choisie suivant les recommandations du bureau dingnierie.
Pour toutes les douilles de xations, il

y a une profondeur de vissage minimale et maximale. Les valeurs minimales sont donnes dans le tableau

Algemene inbouw-instructies
Zorg ervoor dat het oppervlak van het anker vrij is van vuil,
olie, etc. om de optimale binding tussen bevestigingsanker en beton te garanderen.
Het beton moet zorgvuldig worden gestort; vermijd direct
contact tussen verdichtingsapparatuur en bevestigingsanker. Extra vastzetten van de ankers aan de wapening
wordt aanbevolen.
Bevestigingsankers kunnen gelijk met het oppervlak of
verdiept worden ingebouwd. Bij verdiept ingebouwde
ankers moeten sluitringen worden gebruikt ter ondersteuning.
Direct na het ontkisten dienen de spijkerplaten te worden
verwijderd. De binnenzijde van de draadbus dient na het
ontkisten verder te worden beschermd tegen indringen van
water, vuil of olie tot het moment van bevestigen. Ook na

de montage dient de binnenzijde van de draadbus te worden
beschermd tegen indringen van water.
De bevestigingsbout moet worden gekozen op basis van de
statische specicaties van de constructeur.
Minimale/maximale indraailengte(s) voor bevestigingsbouten en maximale aandraaimoment (Tinst) zijn te vinden
in de tabellen op pag. 24 - 25.
Het bevestigingsanker mag niet op zijn volledige capaciteit
worden belast voordat het beton de vereiste sterkte bereikt
heeft.
Lassen
Alle stalen producten in de technische documentatie
(DEMU FIX) zijn lasbaar. Echter kan lassen, ook
hechtlassen, de mechanische eigenschappen van de DEMUproducten negatief benvloeden.
Indien lassen in de toepassing onvermijdelijk is, dient
rekening te worden gehouden met het volgende:
een mogelijke reductie van belastbaarheid en wijziging
van gebruikseigenschappen.
verwijder de eventueel aanwezige coatinglaag voor het
lassen en zorg ervoor dat lasdampen veilig worden
afgezogen.
gebruik voorgeschreven beschermingsmiddelen.
de klant is verantwoordelijk voor naleving van de
geldende lasvoorschriften.

Het bepalen van de boutlengte

Algemene informatie
Indraailengte van de bout
De te bevestigen constructie is aan

het ingebouwde anker bevestigd met
een bevestigingsbout met standaard
metrische draad en sluitring of met
een draadstang, sluitring en moer. De
bevestigingsonderdelen zijn niet bij de
DEMU bevestigingssystemen inbegrepen en dienen separaat te worden besteld. Het bevestigingsmiddel (bout)
moet worden gekozen op basis van
de statische specicaties van de
constructeur.
Voor alle bevestigingsmiddelen geldt

een minimale en een maximale
indraailengte. De minimale waarden
