SECTION VI – HEALTH HAZARD DATA
Under Normal Use Conditions: May cause eye and skin irritation like any soap or detergent.

Effects of Overexposure:
Eyes – Contact can cause severe irritation, redness, blurred vision, and severe or permanent
damage.
Skin – Overexposure can cause severe irritation. Prolonged contact may cause burns.
Ingestion – Overexposure may cause gastrointestinal irritation, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting.
Inhalation – Exposure to spray or mists can cause nose and throat irritation.

First Aid:
Eyes – Immediately flush with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. . Consult
physician.
Skin – Immediately flush with copious amounts of soap and water for at least 5 minutes. If
irritation persists, contact physician. Launder contaminated clothing before reuse.
Ingestion – Consult Poison Control Center or physician immediately. Administer 2 glasses of
water or milk, immediately. Do not induce vomiting or give anything by mouth to an
unconscious person.
Inhalation – Remove to fresh air. If necessary, give oxygen, artificial respiration, contact
physician.

Respiratory Protection: Wear a dust / mist mask or respirator with an organic vapors /
acid vapors cartridge.
Ventilation: Normal for chemicals of this nature.
Eye Protection: Chemical goggles or full-face shield

Other Protection: Wear protective clothing to prevent skin contact. Eye wash and
safety shower in work area.
Work/Hygienic Practices: Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Wash thoroughly
after handling.

Precautions to be taken in handling and storing: Keep container closed when not in use

Other precautions: Spilled material is quite slippery on all surfaces.

Precaution to be taken in case of release or spill: Contain material by diking the area around the
spill. Absorb with an inert material and dispose of as solid waste. If material is released into the
environment, the user should determine whether the spill should be reported to the appropriate
local, state or federal authorities.
