Regarding.

Applications are invited for filling up of one post of Deputy Chief
Mechanical Engineer (Electronics & Communication) in the pay scale of
Rs. 32900 58000 in the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
Department by absorption through Composite Method from the eligible
Officers of Major Ports, who possess the prescribed qualifications in
Electronics & Communication Engineering, experience and other
conditions as mentioned in the enclosed Recruitment Rules for the post
of Dy.CME .
2.
Names of suitable and willing officers who satisfy the requirements
as specified in the Recruitment Rules for the said post, may submit their
Applications as per the Proforma enclosed alongwith the following
documents through proper channel to the undersigned on or before
11.12. 2015.
(a)

Photocopy of ACRs of the applicant for the last five years

duly attested.

(b)

No Objection Certificate of respective Port Trust.

(c )

Undertaking of the applicant not to withdraw if selected.

(d)

Vigilance clearance of the candidate in the proforma

prescribed by the Ministry (copy enclosed).

(e)

The details of the applicant may clearly be mentioned along

with length of service in the feeder grade posts and details of
pay scales.

(f)

It may clearly be mentioned whether the candidate has

experience in the feeder grade posts on regular or adhoc or
deputation basis.

(g)

The applications of non-eligible candidates (i.e. who are not

in the feeder grade posts) may not be sent.

(h)

The veracity of the University Certificates and the recognition

of the Degree obtained by the applicant may be ensured and
certified.

(i)

Three copies of recent passport size colour photograph.

website www.chennaiport.gov.in.
The Government intimation if any, received in due course
regarding extension in relaxation of qualifying service will be given effect.
The applications duly forwarded by the Employer/Forwarding
Authority on or before 11.12.2015 shall only be considered. This has
the approval of the competent authority.
