JON DOE

EXT. BEACH - DAY

A man washed up on a beach.
The tide washes in and wakes him.
His eyes open and he stares up at the sky like a man the
morning after a drunken binge who has no idea where he is
our how he got there.
Suddenly there is a voice in his ear. Its a womans
voice.
VOICE
Jon? Jon are you awake?
He lies still looking at the sky and imagining the voice
is only in his head.
VOICE
Jon Donald. Wake up.
As she speaks these words he closes his eyes and has the
flashback of a womans face looking down at him. The sky
above her head is dark with smoke and her expression is
worried. He cant hear any sound but her lips mouthWAKE UP
He opens his eyes to the bright sun of the present day
and sits up trying to shake out the memory.
VOICE
Jon, are you functional?
Yes.

JON

He looks over at his pack. It lies a few feet away with a

broken strap.

He goes for it.
Where am I?

JON

VOICE
Dont worry about that, Jon. This
is mission Double Alpha. Do you
comply?
The words click in his head and his eyes narrow as he
scours the beach with them like a hawk.
Affirmative.

JON

VOICE
Copy, Jon Donald. We are a go.
Jon shoulders his pack and heads up the beach towards the
trees.
When he finds some cover he squats and opens the pack. He
pulls out dry clothes a handgun and a small packet. Then
he proceeds to strip.
When hes dressed he checks and tucks the weapon and
opens the packet.
He shakes out

EXT.

- RESTAURANT PARIS - DAY

A waiter is serving a couple at a table. The woman looks

around the room nervously while the man seems obtuse and
indifferent.
WAITER
Can I get you anything else,
monsieur?
The man dismisses him with a wave of his hand while the
woman smiles at him in apology.

(CONTINUED)

CONTINUED:
Suddenly two masked men burst through the door with guns
trained.
GUY1
Alright, everybody get the fuck on
the floor!!
The two men swing the large guns back and forth scanning
the room as everyone drops to the expensive carpet.
Only the rude customer and his waiter remain upright.
The other masked man, the silent one, notices this and
walks over slowly.
He ignores the waiter and walks right up to put the gun
at the rude customers head.
GUY2
Lets start with yyour wallet,
shall we.
The customer turns, just his head, and ives the masked
man a disgusted look.
GUY2
You know, I hadn a feeling youd
be saying that.
He cocks the gun.
Suddenly the waiter raises the tray hes holding and
knocks the guun into the air. Next the tray slams into
the gunmans face.
Before anyone knows whats going on the waiter has the
gunman spint into a choke hold and is now pointing the
mans weapon at the opther gunman.
The customers on the floor give a collective gasp.
The second gunman, unprepared for this, turns and aims at
the waiter who is using his partner as a shield.
