Role:Installation and Configuring Citrix Presentation Server 4.0, 4.5,XenApp 5.

o

Creating New Farm, Joining farm, Create applications in Citrix isolation environments, Able to Publish
Applications, create Sites (Access platform Site, PNA agent, using citrix Web interface.) Giving permissions
to the sites, applications, creating reports of the Citrix farm environment, configuring data backup to SQL
server. Configuring load manager for Applications as well as for server, Configuring Resource manager,
Deploying application through Installation Manager and Configuring Printer in Citrix environment.

Configuring SSL in Citrix Web interface using Certificate Services.

Configuring Citrix Secure Gateway.

Configuring and Managing Certificate services in Windows Server 2003.

Configuring Citrix WI Server in Apache Tomcat 6.0 Environment.

Installing and configuring XenServer 5.6, 6.0

Installing patches to XenServer pools through XenCenter console.

Giving access to XenServers as per RBAC

Responsibilities:o

Citrix Operations is responsible for monitoring, controlling and operating a multi-vendor Access Solution
environment comprised of Citrix XenApp, Appsense, Thinprint, RSA Ace, Windows File Clusters, Edgesight
and any other related tools and components such as the underlying OS.

They are also responsible for analyzing first level problems for all systems, resolving and routing as
appropriate, supporting the Systems Management Processes specific to their Line of Business client
requirements, system recovery, patching and proactive maintenance tasks.

Citrix Engineering will work with the lines of business to deliver applications to the user base in a timely and
professional manner. Documentation of the process is a required aspect for all applications.

All applications are packaged using application virtualization tools and prior experience with application
packaging is a required skill.

As a Citrix Engineer you will provide third level support for XenApp infrastructure issues and assist the 2nd
level support group in troubleshooting application issues.

7 10 years experience in Citrix XenApp Server architecture, design, and implementation; an understanding of
Storage Area Networks;

Total and relevant years of Experience: 7 to 10 years.

Required
o

Bachelor's Degree

At least 3 years experience in XenApp Server architecture

At least 3 years experience in APP-V

English: Fluent

Accountabilities:
o

In addition, to the above, the Citrix Engineer will be responsible for:

Designing, developing and implementing Windows/Citrix systems to advance business goals.

All aspects of Citrix design, performance-monitoring, tuning, scripting, upgrades and maintenance of all
production Citrix systems.

Supports applications, hardware, operating systems and network infrastructure.

Skill Required:
o

The ability to identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate issues that affect Citrix and Windows related
products.
