Lower Makefield Twp Burglary - Arrest Made by Falls Twp Police

Department
On December 20, 2015, at approximately 11:15am Lower Makefield Township Police
officers were dispatched to the report of a burglary in progress at 100 block of East Ferry
Road, Lower Makefield Township.
A neighbor (witness) stated that he observed a grey in color, Pontiac station wagon type
vehicle back into the driveway of the residence. The neighbor observed two black subjects
exit the vehicle and walk to the rear of the home. The neighbor indicated that one subject was
wearing camouflage pants and the other was attired in dark colored clothing.
At this time, the homeowner arrived on scene and noticed the Pontiac station wagon in the
driveway. The homeowner observed two black subjects walking from the rear of the home
and the subjects fled when observed, traversing the backyard toward the Delaware Canal.
The homeowner found damage to the exterior garage entry door and damage to the interior
garage door leading to the home. The damage, including broken glass, was consistent with
forced entry.
Additional witnesses in the area of the Delaware Canal observed a black male subject,
wearing clothing consistent with that described by the neighbor, jump into the canal and
swim across same.
Officers tracking the suspects located work gloves, which were wet, in the area. One of the
gloves had a blood stained tear on the wrist area.
Subsequently, Falls Township Police officers stopped a taxi cab at the Calhoun Street Bridge.
The subjects occupying the taxi cab were identified as Sabannoh Yawson (B/F, 21 years of
age) and a JUVENILE (B/M, 17 years of age). The JUVENILE was found to be wet from
head to toe and both subjects had mud on their shoes.
Above witness positively identified the JUVENILE as one of the subjects observed at the
victims residence. The witness also indicated that Yawsons clothing and description was
consistent with the other subject observed.

Township (NJ) on December 20 at approximately 0800hrs. The vehicle had been left running
in the driveway by the victim in Hamilton.
Both subjects were charged with Burglary, Attempted Burglary, Conspiracy, Criminal
Trespass, Receiving Stolen Property, and Criminal Mischief.
